  1. lol "We have no idea what's going on currently or what will happen in the future, but we ARE still in the building here." It's probably not the best work environment on earth right now.... - First: Lets merge servers but not call it a merge and also add a LFG tool. Also, stop all development on future content so we can get this done quickly...btw, allot of you are fired. - Second: Ok, now that the server merges are done and people are happy with the server populations & LFG tools we're going F2P in a couple months. Also, stop all current future content development to prepare for F2P functions & restrictions.
  2. Nope, I'll be leaving. Atleast GW2 will give me something new to look at besides working on my 6th level 50.... /cancelled today
  3. - PvE/PvP Warzone (I hate the bring it up..but something like the original AV in WoW before it was nerfed) - 2+ more Flashpoints - Another Operation - Random server events Just bombard us with content..please.
  4. I completely agree but from the beginning on development on this game, Bioware wasn't Bioware. Outside of the 1-49 voiced quests & storyline quests this is a VERY mediocre MMO because of the lack of content & basic tools that should've been in at launch. Because of this the game is nearly 6 months behind in development of follow on content(putting things that should've been in at launch doesn't count as new content). Bioware is a MMO virgin but is an excellent single player RPG game designer and it shows in this game. This game will be stable in terms of population for awhile but the online players these days are so fleety that the population numbers probably won't get above 1 million again. Not counting EA's inflated numbers that are due out soon... Patch 1.3 + F2P to lvl 15 numbers combined. What they won't announce is how low the population got pre- 1.3 WTB content pst
  5. #2 is way too high imo. In order to achieve what you're proposing "clearcut way to stop swtor from failing', all of this content would have to be in a single patch THIS quarter and that's just not going to happen. This game will stabilize at around 500k for the long term 1+ years because of the excellent 1-49 content and there's still a lot of single player RPG people who haven't tried the game yet. They will filter in and out over the next year or so, also old subscribers will come back from time to time post patch to see what changes there have been. 500k is the goal and anything above that is a bonus at this point, this isn't a bad thing overall but SWTOR just isn't going to be the Juggernaut everyone is looking for as an alternative to 'that other game'. It never was going to be. I'll still be here having fun whenever they put new content in but I like many others are still out there looking for that 'perfect' game to come out.
  6. One of the major problem in this game currently is the total lack of grind AT ALL, I'm not sure what grind people are referring to.. PvP? lol There's no longevity in the game outside of the PvP 'grind'. You can gear up PvE wise in a day or two once you hit level 50 and you've beaten the game.. Full columni easy..
  7. Quite simply it's a Tier 2 Flashpoint, after running and gearing up with a combination or one or the other of Tier 1 Flashpoints & Story mode Operations(which can be done blind folded) then you should proceed to the Tier 2 Flashpoints. If people are in the queue for this Flashpoint that don't have the gear then politely remove them when you can. Yes, the Flashpoint is difficult without a perfect group makeup but don't remove all challenge from this game please. With the lack of endgame content at this point we need SOMETHING challenging.
  8. We don't need a level cap increase or even a new planet the current planets are large enough to expand on. -Morph the legacy system into an AA(Alternate Advancement) system. -More raid zones -More Flashpoints -Guild quests -Guild only raids(single boss events) -NPC invasions etc. -Expand explorable/quest zones on current planets. -Continue on with Chapter 4, 5, 6 of our storylines. Basically just bombard us with content and leave the fluff out of it for later patches post expansion. At release besides the leveling process there was a severe shortage of content. At the moment, the current amount of content is what should've been in the release build.
  9. I'm not a fan on the reward thing, if people want to tank they'll tank. If they want lower queues...they'll roll a tank. If DPS/Heals are complaining about high queue times.....see above solution or read a book. You can't force people to roll a class/spec that they don't want. No cross server queues, sorry. The only way I'd support cross server is if the /ignore function not only prevented grouping with that character but also that characters legacy cross server. Sorry but there really are people that exist in life that enjoy wasting other people's time for no good reason, atleast if they're on your own server the word can get out.
  10. The Bastion- PvP West is the highest pop server at the moment I believe. Btw, it's not difficult to find this information if you check the server status page.
  11. Yes and any ignore should be applied to that person's Legacy as well.
  12. +100 Dark Side points
  13. Stay strong brother you wear the pants...err Robe in the family.
  14. lol I could care less about that other game with it's 10 million subscribers and no, swtor isn't a failure. I merely posted a ******** comment on the General Forums and got the reaction I expected haha. Hey the servers are down...sue me.
