  1. We do run 16 player story modes every weekend. That would be a good place for those new to raiding to begin. Our expectations for new raiders are: 1) Let the tank pull 2) Don't stand in Area-of-Effect that hurts you (we refer to that as 'red ****' or 'purple ****', as the case may be) 3) Don't loot til everybody is rezzed 4) If you don't know a fight, speak up! If you're embarrassed, a whisper to raid leadership will be fine. 5) Be willing to listen and learn. What classes/roles we need are listed on our home page, http://www.darkaftermath.com .
  2. Your introductory post is well written, but I suspect that my guild is a bit more casual than you'd prefer. However, I can recommend that you peruse the recruitment posts at this sub-forum. I'm certain that you'll find a suitable guild to join.
  3. We are growing, and planning more operation runs and pvp nights. Check us out at http://www.darkaftermath.com , or whisper an officer in-game
  4. We are still recruiting, now with a focus on people who are able to run operations on Saturdays. Some of us are only available to raid on weekends, and we need more good people to fill our groups. We do run regular weeknight events, as well.
  5. Nope. We hate elitists too. We're all about having fun as we tackle challenging content, and elitism spoils that. What we will do is watch your numbers in Parsec, and then help you out with min-maxing your gear and rotation. We just want members to be willing to learn and try out new ideas.
  6. We're looking to increase the number of times we raid, as well as having rated pvp teams. We need more people who are comfortable in a mature and respectful gaming environment. People to contact in game are: Propz/Truzt/ Mindgamez, Bev'Het/ Drezure/ Hextes/ Kratar/Pri'loc/ Sserif, Zindi, Addinl/Azier,/Cyrdon/ Nessai/Ragia/Tandana, Moocher/Huntinyu, Veddor/Chetarra/Verril, Tibane/Agann, Hoohah/ Lytining/ Yaw'n, and Yseult. (yes, some of our officers do enjoy playing multiple characters ) our recruitment form http://www.darkaftermath.com/recruitmentswtor
  7. Propz, Drezure, and Addinl are most often on day thru evening thurs/fri/sat. I'm on most evenings eastern time, so late afternoon if you're west coast.
  8. I think you'd enjoy Dark Aftermath, we are an adult guild with older players. whisper myself, Propz, Drezure, or Addinl for an invite!
  9. We are now in open recruitment; all levels and interests. whisper Propz / Yseult / Adinnl / Drezure / Azier , who are on most often. Murcatto and Byakuya-kuchicki can also /ginvite if you happen to see them.
  10. A few of our raiders have left the game, so we have spots open for dps in our (empire) raid group. Send tells or in-game mail to the folks listed in the post above this one, or use our website's application form - http://www.darkaftermath.com/recruitmentswtor
  11. I want this too. Elite coms are of no use to me. I want to be able to buy crafting schematics, at 150 basic coms each, off the basic com vendor. Grinding dailies for basic coms, it takes a while to get 150.
  12. The offer's appreciated, Abb, but we are primarily Empire side. We do have an alt repub guild, <Aftermath>, but we don't do much as an organized guild there. Dark Aftermath still needs more good people!
  13. It's so much fun to see how creative people get with all the options Bioware is giving us now. Keep posting! I <3 it!
  14. It's in Known Issues... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=403398 ...but yeah, waiting over 2 months for a fix is a bit much. SCORPIO is my favorite companion on my main, an operative, and I'd really like to upgrade her to the new best-in-slot purple gear.
  15. Dark Aftermath is 8 man. We raid Friday and Saturday nights, 9 to 12 Arizona time. (Arizona does NOT observe daylight savings time.)
  16. Best dressed? That's debatable. Looking GOOOOD? Hell yeah! http://www.darkaftermath.com/profile/2556381/pics/detail/album_id/288080#pid=1755899 http://www.darkaftermath.com/profile/2556381/pics/detail/album_id/288080#pid=1755898 http://www.darkaftermath.com/profile/2556381/pics/detail/album_id/288080#pid=1755895
  17. LeenPony is absolutely correct about registering for a guild website being a basic filter for member involvement. Yes, my guild has a website: http://www.darkaftermath.com/swtor
  18. We are still looking for fun people to invite to our guild.
  19. Thank you for editing your original post, Trunk'monkey. I was just having a bit of fun. Good luck with your recruiting!
  20. Actually, I am a teacher, as well as a gamer. There are times when I cannot resist the urge to correct People Who Are Wrong On The Internet. It's a failing, I know, but there is just so much wrong with the original post of this thread! I succumbed to the temptation.
  21. Your link to your guild site doesn't work. You don't state which side you are on - Empire or Republic? Considering your vicious attack on the English language added to the listed errors, I think you might be trolling.
  22. Which side is your main on? If Empire, my guild is recruiting. There are good guilds on the Republic side too, I have alts there.
  23. Additional officer alts - for myself - Aluel Byakuya-Kuchicki
  24. We've cleared Terror From Beyond story mode. We are still recruiting!
  25. Absolutely and utterly agreed. I've enjoyed seasonal, limited-time quest events since my Asheron's Call days. That Bioware chose to monetize this holiday for everybody strikes me as being incredibly miserly. I pay for content with my subscription. Now, if I want any of the holiday/anniversary items, I have to take my chances on the GTN if I don't want to buy cartel coins. I was expecting a fun event, and I'm very disappointed by the lack of it. Bioware, you are alienating long-term subscribers, your bread-and-butter, with these decisions. (I played the last 2 months of beta, participated in the pre-order early launch, and have subscribed continuously since then.)
