I thought Op dps was close-range due to the 10 m and 4 m important skills?

Hi snipers! I'm at level 10 and thinking of rolling sniper! But I'm wondering a bit about the playstyle. Is there are high-mobility talent tree for sniper? I assume marksman isn't it.. I dont fancy going all close-range like the operative, but something in between. Is sniper for me?
