  1. I realize this has been posted many times. My hope is that MAYBE if it gets mentioned enough there's a CHANCE it will be considered. I'm a founder of the game, never let my sub lapse over all 5 years. SWTOR has been the most fun I've ever had in an online game and while I don't play as much as I once did, I still really enjoy it. All that being said, something needs to be done about the dead servers like Pot5. Again, nothing new here, but it's getting really, really bad lately. I couldn't even queue for a WZ yesterday evening after staying queued for several hours. I fully realize there are transfers even currently on sale, but there are people in my guild that don't have the money to do that. Great friend of mine has over 20 level 60+ characters, plus a lot of other alts from other members. Then there's the issue of things such as strongholds and guild ships not transferring, which I know is difficult and have to be implemented to fix. I just really feel this is something that needs to be done and soon. Otherwise the future that the "doomsday" people claiming the game is on it's way out will become reality, and with the amount of time and $$ that's gone into this game I would hate to see that. I'm certainly not known for being a complainer, but when I can't even play a WZ anymore something needs to change. The GTN is practically broken, can't buy anything because it simply isn't available most of the time or super expensive. That really hurts even Stronghold design when there's only a fraction of the many items even out there. Starfighter doesn't exist and hasn't for a while. There's just so many things that are part of the game that people are missing out on for one reason or another because they are on these micro servers. Possible solutions are: Straight up merger and removal of Pot5 completely, which I'm cool with and yes I was there for the last one. Problems are obviously the things that currently don't transfer. So either create a way to do that (ideally) or simply reimburse credits for the things that don't. I know my guild would have no problem re-decorating ships and SH's if we were at least given credit refund upon moving over to just buy them all again. I know then we have the issues of names as well, and IDK if there is a great solution to it honestly. Best I can come up with to at least weed out a lot of names would be another name removal. Names on characters that haven't been used for x amount of time get lost like last time. Could even do the same for guilds that haven't had at least 1 active member for so long. I know that some don't want mergers for specific reasons and I respect that, I just wish something could be implemented that could be a compromise. Another possibility I've seen mentioned for a while is cross-server interactions. If the GTN could be shared and I can queue in WZ, FP, Ops, GSF, etc with people on another server I could get over not seeing people walk around on the planets, even though it looks lonely. Certainly not ideal from a social aspect, but does fix some major issues and avoids some potential problems as well. So anyway, enough with the rambling, it's just getting to where this and a couple other servers are so low populated that half of the game doesn't exist which is really sad. I also feel that this will only force more people to quit the game because they want to play the other half of the game but don't want to pay real money to transfer half their stuff or start over. Not that I expect a miracle reply to this, just hoping that yet another thread will bring more attention to this issue. Please Bioware, help your longtime subs out! We've given so much to this game and I hate not being able to play half of it because of this.
