I have this problem with Kira (I am a female knight). It may be anecdotal, but I think that the male romance options give higher affection gains from gifts to main characters of the opposite sex. The most I've ever gotten from Kira's favorite gifts is +54, but Doc will give me +96 and luxury and courting. I've also found this true on my female sith inquisitor- male romance Andronikos will give full affection gain, but female romance option Ashara will not.

dunno if others had experiences this, but my quest was bugged there. My companions would randomly lie on the ground in that area and not get up (hence not doing any DPS). I tried all kinds of relogging, re-summoning them, but nothing. I couldn't solo the fight and I called a friend to help me. His companion also bugged out and laid on the ground for the majority of the fight. That quest pissed me off, because I think it would have been doable if not for the bug.

I got orange parts for him on Taris. I'm at work so I don't have the game running or anything, but I think it was a quest reward from a heroic.

Thanks, I checked it out. I hope it's incomplete...it shows 'no drops' for both taral V and maelstrom for jedi knight. In fact, the only drops it has listed for taral V are so consulars. Maybe that info hasn't been added yet.

I have a friend who has a 50 sith juggernaut, and has been acquiring the best PvP and PvE gear slowly. He's becoming unkillable tbh. Whereas gear seems to make very little difference on my inquisitor, it is absolutely everything on a tank. I am 35 on my guardian now, and I've noticed I have to actively browse the GTN for the best mods to update my stuff (since I'm slightly overleveled for the planets I'm on, I need to shop the GTN because the mods I can buy with my commendations aren't as high level as I am). Changing just a few armorings out makes a big difference in my effectiveness. Once you hit 50 when there is a huge disparity between gear levels, it becomes even more crucial. I still think there are some innate problems with our class (threat generation is too low, few gap closers and ways to kite ranged dps, etc), but any decent player will improve drastically with the best gear compared to other classes.

I'm looking for some information on where I can obtain orange gloves, belt and bracers for my guardian. I'm level 35 and have run every flashpoint multiple times, but these items never drop, or rarely drop. The places I've been able to find orange gear drops are as follows: -Mandolorian raiders once dropped a pair of medium armor orange gloves with cunning. Since my group was all jedi, we all greeded and I got the item, which I later modded out to give to Doc. Any know if Mando Raiders also has a chance to drop orange gloves for knights? -Greaves are plentifully given as quest rewards for bonus series (Taris) and heroics on Tatooine -Chest pieces drop from mando raiders, cademimu, athiss, and hammer station, as well as being offered as various quest rewards. I have about 8 orange chest pieces now. -Orange boots can be purchased from the light side vendor for 8K empty. Can anyone that has orange gloves, bracers or belts give any info as to where they came from? Also, anyone know where to get a chestpiece for guardian that doesn't have a hood? I realize I could rip the mods out of a trooper chestpiece, but I like the cloak that comes with our jedi stuff. I've seen hoodless cloaks for sith juggernaut, so I assume some corrolary exists for guardian.

You're level 27 almost 28 and you're on Alderaan? I was level 27 when I first got to Tatooine, of course you're having problems. You have missed something along the way....bonus series? Smaller quests left incomplete? Chances are if you've missed something, you've also missed the opportunity to get good gear upgrades from quest rewards. There's nothing wrong with having trouble on Alderaan at level 28, that would be an absolute nightmare. I would at the very least suggest going back and doing the bonus series, as well as the Tatooine heroics (many of which offer orange gear as quest rewards). Come back in a few levels and you'll mow stuff down no problem. Later on you'll get Doc, and never have to worry about dying again

alright, I was kind of wondering about this too. Is there an actual wedding ceremony or cutscene? Because I have Andronikos to 10000 affection, and had the marriage convo (which literally was him saying 'hey, do you think we should, you know, get married or something? ugh) but there was no ceremony. I get emails from him now, but I was really expecting more.

Is there no love for Andronikos Revel? At first I was a bit disappointed, and thought he was kinda ugly, but he's grown on me. At least now I stop picturing Ohgren when he talks Also, the later companion you get, Talos (the empire dude that likes history) I thought was really great. His enthusiasm for ancient history is very cute. If only he was a bit younger looking. But I think he's not romanceable :/

**Below contains minor SPOILERS for the Hoth class questline for Inquisitor** So I specced healer, and received the quest to go into the Sadow'een temple and Talos became my companion for this endeavor. It was a little tough, me being a healer and having a healing companion; it was taking forever to kill the droids in there. But that is neither there nor here. Anyways, you come to a point where Talos needs to open the door and you have to fight ~3 waves of droids solo while he opens the door. This was tough for me, and after trading blows with the final wave for awhile, I finally died. Then, I was respawned outside the phase. Fine. But then Talos was still inside, at the door, so I figured I'll just run back to the door and kill that one droid I died to. But no, the entire phase had respawned, and my bonus quest went from saying 'kill ancient droids 17/30' to 'kill ancient droids 0/30'. Now it expects me to mow through 17 droids to get to the door, solo without my companion. I tried. I died. I respawned and ran forward as far as I could until I became visible again and died again. Rinse repeat. After two 10 minute death timers I am at the door again and Talos is still there tinkering with it, and I have to fight the 3 solo waves again, this time with completely borken armor due to my copious amounts of dying. I almost did it. So close. But then I died and respawned outside the instance, conpanionless, with a fully respawned instance ahead of me. I finally had to enlist the help of a guildmate. Is this right, or is this a bug? I have never run into a situation so ridiculous and penalyzing in the whole game. Maybe it would have been different if I was dps specced, but force a healer to beat solo waves, they die, and then force them to re-beat 5 times that number of enemies companionless? What?
