It's not that far fetched. If you start reading about DAO they specifically state that the writers were influenced by books like ASOIAF. It's the whole reason I even watched the show...because I first heard about it while reading about Dragon Age. If u want a reference just get on the DA wiki.

Some people have touched on this a bit. But the real proof is that Palpatine is the one and only Sith to ever rule the entire galaxy. So...he was in a sense all powerful. Also Revan (with some help) almost beat him until he was betrayed. I don't think this Sith Emperor has done much to prove he is more powerful than say Ragnos or even Sadow, otherwise he would have ruled the Sith Empire long before the Great Hyperspace War. Ragnos lived 1000 years and ruled the SE. And his spirit hasn't been killed as far as I know. Sadow was able to manipulate sunspot cycles and create solar flares from a star. Sure the Sith Emperor can feed on planetary life force, extending his own life. But that's really all he has going for him. So my evidence posted is: Palpatine actually RULED the galaxy. Marka Ragnos must have been more powerful otherwise Vitiate would have challenged him in the old Sith Empire. And Naga Sadow can control stars (literally star wars).

The continuity sort of ebbs and flows for when good and bad stuff come out. There were as many horrible plot features in the 80's and 90's (anyone remember Jaxx)? The EU is a business first and they will churn crap out from time to time to keep the license afloat. So, you just gotta wait for the good stuff and ignore the bad stuff. For instance I completely ignore anything having to do with the Yuuzhan Vong because that story doesn't suit my taste. But I love the Old Republic era and consider it the flagship of expanded universe fiction right now. So I just focus on that. I will admit the OP emperor is kind of lame. I found ROTJ Palapatine more engrossing a character. He was physically weak but posessed greater foresight and knowledge than anyone else you see in the movies (arguably). So yeah, my advice is focus on what you like and just pretend the other stuff doesn't even exist.

Hoth commendation helm is the closest to a Revan mask. There's another good one but its med armor.

All this has been good advice. I'd just emphasize keeping orange for mods later. U mod it, it gets better and every planet will continue givin mods to use. Remember even if you can't use the armor class, your companions can. I give my companions orange armor and mod it to suit their two highest stats (ie aim and endurance).

At the guild summit didn't they say subs were increasing? maybe they just projected out. They probably have like a 6m to year wait period before they change anything to see what the average server size is going to be. It would be jumpin the gun if they merged servers only to have greater sub volume a year later.

They probably messed somethin up and just caught it. Playin catch up. Which is fine. They'll probably post a time soon.

No idea. I was wondering the same thing.

Oh one other prob was figuring out a good rotation for my abilities. But once I felt I got the hang of it, it made a huge difference. I'd say for people havin a hard time with it just ask other SW who aren't having problems what kind of ability rotations they use. It is a bit tricky with our laundry list lol
