I did find this odd. 192(SM) -> 198(HM) -> 204 MHs (Monolith) felt like a pretty good progression
216(SM)->220(HM)->224(NiM) doesn't feel nearly as good

Another non-customizable clone?
He wasn't asking for a new companion. When you do one of the Star Fortress missions you get an Ithorian as a companion. He was asking that the CE vendor (who is also an Ithorian) adds a customization for the companion Ithorian that makes him look like the CE vendor model.

The stories are a bit of a single player experience until you hit ch9. However once you get to the point where your doing Star Fortresses/Alliance building, the content begins to support grouping. Its a lot easier (and more enjoyable) to do it with a friend, hang tight through the first chapters, you'll get there

Like I said in several other threads, those lightsaber pikes are single handed lightsabers with a very long hilt and a short blade and NOT double bladed lightsabers/vibrostaffs.
All of the NPCs with lightsaber pikes use the same saber animations as warriors and knights not sins/shadows.
THIS! They even hold a shield in their offhand. If Force Pikes were added in their current form they would certainly be 1H. Tho I could see them releasing two versions perhaps.

A number of companions are going to be added through the Alliances system over the next little bit. Those will not appear in the console if they are already slated for an upcoming release. (Just like how the Sith Warrior cannot get Pierce through the console after ch9 since there is an alert for him already)

Agreed, if from the opposite end of the scale - the launcher does currently not fit on my 1024x768 screen.
I didn't know you could play SWTOR on a smartphone

Maybe they could post in The Shadowlands forum. Since, you know, it's an issue purely and exclusively related to The Shadowlands and most people won't be talking about it in General. But who needs logic anyway?
The most logical thing to do is check Dev Tracker, then they could post it in the "RP Land" forums and it wouldnt matter, you'd still see it

Got one, just need a couple more.
-
They did not lie.. They specifically said that they were leaving this one and the other crafting centric one alone.
This.
It helps if you read everything they say as opposed to just skimming

You must be mistaken, I heard companions were literal walking gods that reduce us to being the companions now.
They are walking gods. Even if their armor/damage reduction is broken, put them in healing mode and they will outheal any damage throw at them with relative ease, while still outputting decent damage themselves. With enough influence you can sick a healing companion on any just about any content in the game (outside of Ops since they can't be summoned) and they will solo it while you afk.
If I'm playing on my tank I can swap my Influence 20 comp to DPS mode and they kill things faster than 99% of players I've grouped with.

"Fallen Empire" simply represents the state of Zakuul after 5 years under Arcann. This Empire was in a golden age until Valkorian was usurped, and now it has "fallen" from grace, is rife with civil unrest and even war (Sions vs Knights).

I agree with the size for the Zak stuff..no thought or common sense given to what hook size which item works on. Also, stop putting so many decos as starship-need hooks.
Only Tat, Nar and Yavin have them and there are only 2 each in those. I was not happy when I got the Sun machine Reactor from heroic SF heroics only to see it took a starship hook. Either place more in SHs or stop making them use that size. A starship hook is meant for just that... A STARSHIP. I think it's hilarious that we got 10 of them...really Biofail?
Agreed. The Sun Generator could fit on a centerpiece fine, its no bigger than a lot of other centerpiece decorations. Same goes for the Worldbreaker Monolith.
In addition to the Zakuul stands only fitting on larger hooks, most of the really cool new Rakata pieces from the comms vendor also fit exclusively on Large Hooks, which completely eliminated all the ideas I had to use them. I simply don't have enough large hooks in suitable areas to make use of them, even on Yavin

This is not a bug. The name of the ability has also changed to match the ability change. Its much better this way IMO, my Sith Warrior and Dark Side Jedi can now use Force Lightning which is something Ive wanted for a very very long time

Boosted 60's do not have the 1-50 story "complete" in the traditional sense, its more accurate to say they "bypass" it instead.
A fresh 60 is designed to jump straight into KOTFE and cannot do the previous story, as such you do not get any of the rewards of the previous story either. That includes titles, legacy unlocks, etc.
The only exception to this is companions, you do get all the companions unlocked as I assume they are needed in order for the KOTFE story to play out correctly
-
Seems weird that they'd draw the line there. Glowing crystals aren't *that* hard to come by, but hard enough where I'd want to use them up on an alt first if possible. That said I should at least be able to use legacy gear to send the OH 216 hilt to my artificer alt to RE and craft, correct?
The 208 is bugged and is missing the slot restriction. Expect it to get fixed at some point soon. The rest are slot bound as intended

There are a number of bugs plaguing companions in Strongholds. This will contain some spoilers.
1) My HK-51 is not placeable as a decoration. I lost him along with everyone else when I started KOTFE, but once I got him and Treek back after CH9 he still shows as 0/0 in my decorations window. Treek shows up as 1/1 again, as does 2V-R8 and other returned comps, but not HK-51
2) Niko turns into a hologram everytime I leave my SH and come back. I place him down and he's fine, but anytime I leave, log out or anything, when I return he is a hologram and the only way to fix it is to pick him up and put him back down again.
3) Companions are not showing any gear or customizations when placed in a Stronghold. My Treek, 2VR8, etc all show their default look even if I have a companion customization equipped to them. Companions that wear gear (Pierce, Quyzen, etc) are all completely naked in addition to not showing customizations when placed in a Stronghold.
4) Pierce is having a bit of an identity crisis in Strongholds. On Odessen he is Major Pierce, in the comp window and when summoned he is the same. When placed in a stronghold his name is reverting back to Lieutenant Pierce (in addition to the above bug of always being butt naked)

Solod it on a Jugg with rocket boost.

Stop suggesting fixes to companions PLEASE. No need to fix them.
Are you serious? A companion with lvl 50 influence has 115,000 HP and hits for 25k-45k depending on the skill. They can 2/3-shot players in Open World PVP and you can use them to AFK solo HM Flashpoint bosses.
Outside of Warzones and Ops (simply because you cannot summon them), you can sick them on any content in the game and alt-tab out with zero risk

I started the new story on my lvl 60 Warrior without finishing Yavin.
My question is: Can I go back and finish Yavin or is it too late??
When you start the new story you get TWO popups on your screen that you must accept before continuing that explicitly say "IF YOU MOVE FORWARD YOU CANNOT GO BACK, ARE YOU SURE?!?!!?!?!11111"
And people still ask this question after the fact...

So a boosted Inq will be named as a LS Darth? I thought they said that by default, the LS/DS would be based on what the decisions that the class would have logically made. Shouldn't all Inq's be DS then?
No, the Inquis "profile" is LS. From what I've gathered it goes:
Sith Warrior: Dark
Sith Inquisitor: Light
Bounty Hunter: Dark
Agent Light
and then mirrors opposite on the other side:
Jedi Knight: Light
Jedi Consular: Dark
Trooper: Light
Smuggler: Dark

I got the revan statue when it was cheap, I wouldnt pay 20M for it. With that being said, there are a couple advantages.
1) No CD - not sure if the fully upgraded droid has a CD, but when Revan expires it can be used again immediately
2) The droid (and its upgrades) have to be bought for every toon you want it on. The revan statue can be unlocked in collections and then can redeemed on any toon you ever make
3) It de-spawns when you enter combat. Some Ops fights are finicky about pets and other things being on the field. If you start a fight with a repair droid down it will hang around until its timer expires or its manually dismissed. If you start a fight with Revan out it is automatically dismissed
However the droid has one very small advantage over Revan.
1) Revan takes up an inventory slot where as the droid is activated via your legacy skills

Hey, these are all 'our' stories, so all power to you.
Im still going to find the most painful way of ending his existance first chance I get.
Now where did I put that blunt rusty spoon?
Thats the thing tho, logically that time has passed.
Had I been given the chance to force choke the life out of Quinn at the moment of his betrayal I would have. But I didn't get that option so I did the next best thing, punished him severely and made him beg like a dog for his life.
Ok so now, we are basically FIVE+ years since that event took place, from the Dread Masters to Revan he has been 100% loyal the entire time. If they suddenly give me an option to throw him out the airlock I couldn't do it, not anymore, it would make no logical sense from a narrative standpoint to kill someone for something they did over five years ago and was already punished for.
Yes many will look at this as a way to rectify their lack of a choice back in chapter 3, and that's entirely their prerogative. But narratively it would make zero sense to do it at this point, especially if they reintroduce Quinn in a manner where he is legitimately trying to help you in some way.

No offence but I thought that would be obvious. Could you imagine if you could buy your way to legendary account? All you'd need to do is buy a 60 token for every class you didnt do, that would kind of diminish the value of the achievement now wouldnt it?
Except its even worse than that. As long as you dont level the free 60 to 61 you can delete it and it gives you the token back. So you could use the one free 60 to roll each class and delete it to get your legendary account.
When you buy a 60 you are bypassing the 1-60 game, not auto-completing it. For the sake of the story narrative NPCs refer to you as if you completed the 1-60 story, but gameplay wise you do not count as having done it. You do not get the achievements for the acts and so you don't get any of the rewards. No class legacy emote, no buff unlock for use on other classes, no titles associated with your story quests, and no credit towards Legendary Status.
As it should be.
Common data Crystals to credits - Best ratio?
in General Discussion
Posted · Edited by Terro_Fett
Yes but your talking about a profit loss on a very significant scale.
If you MUST buy stuff to vendor, go to the Supplies section of fleet and buy armor pieces that have 3 components (armoring, mod, enchance) for 120 comms each. Wait out the bind timer and get 17k for your 120 comm investment.
To put in perspective. Rank 6 Legendary Gifts are available from a vendor in the Odessen Cantina for 30 Common Data Crystals. Each of these gifts GTN for 60-100k. So for 1/4 of the cost in crystals you get 6-8x the profit per unit.
1000 data crystals will get you about 160k total via vendoring armor pieces
1000 data crystals will get you between 2 and 3 MILLION credits via GTNing companion gifts
The difference is so astronomical that I feel extremely dirty even discussing the lesser option
