when i dinged 50 i was missing a lot of light side points, i ended up farming esseles, gives 250 points per run, which can be done pretty fast, as you can use your speeder in the entire plashpoint and you pretty much only need to kill the bosses.

Try going into control panel and find you sound options, somewhere you should be able to turn on microphone boost, it might be a driver problem, try updating it

Would recomment upgrading to atleast 4 gb ram, 2 gb is the absolute minimum, i dont think you would enjoy it.
