  1. Im sorry this is just not acceptable. Having the best end-game stat item that a Crew Skill can make be available for purchase on a vendor is just bad game design. Furthermore the best Enhancements in the game are available from doing 1 daily quest. One. Daily Quest. Better than the result from maxing out reverse engineering on Crew Skill items. On top of this there are ZERO operation dropped recipes for Artifice. You completely undermine the entire existance of the Crew Skill by making not only the same but even BETTER gear available in trivial ways. Sloppy and amateurish.
  2. So in looking over the patch notes I find myself completely underwhelmed with the state of Artifice. Artificers can now Reverse engineer offhand items and that's it? Really? The Enhancements at level 50 are still pretty awful given that you can get better ones from doing one daily quest than can possibly be crafted. There are still no Operation dropped recipes for Artificers? Wasn't one of the major announcements about Crew Skills a few months ago talking about how Artifice was going to be getting some serious love and that they were aware there were no Operation recipes? It seems like Zoeller is obsessed only with lightsaber color and believes that the ability to craft different color crystals brings Artificer equal to Biochem...really? Heck +41 stat crystals are already available in game for purchase with credits or on raid / pvp gear. Is there no acknowlegement that making one entire Crew Skill worthless by creating better items that are available from daily quests was a bad idea?
  3. Quest: Best Foot Forward, which is listed as an Operation quest and presumably for the new Karagga's Palace stuff, says to: "Speak to LD-402 in the hangar of the Ziost Shadow" But I cannot find this droid anywhere...
  4. We are trying to do endgame content and I am struggling to determine what the best spec / priority / etc. to use when stationary, when mobile, etc. Trying to do that by finding a standard non-interupting mob with lots of hit points on Ilum and then using a freaking stopwatch is NOT terribly successful. So don't report anything in the combat log but the damage that I do and the damage that I take, I'd be fine with that but at least give me some measurable method to determine the efficacy of abilities I have.
  5. You do realize that there are ZERO Artifice recipes that drop in Operations right? None. Zilch. Biochem gets unlimited Stims and medpacks making it the only choice for people doing Operation content. There is nothing I can make or do with Artifice that even is attractive to people in my guild. The best item I can make (one of the 48 different purple enhancements) is just the same item you can get with 1 daily quest on Ilum and many levels below the quality of enhancements that come from operations or PVP gear. People who want to tailor their Operation-gained items do so by... doing PVP and then removing those enhancements for use in their Tionese or Columi gear or by taking the enhancements from excess armor from a slightly different spec turn in. Who on earth decided that launching with Crew Skills in this state was a good idea? It takes less than 60 seconds of looking at the available items and complete elimination of entire Crew Skills from end game content to realize that the system was not ready for launch. Good grief the Bind on Pickup items that Artificers can make are some of the WORST relics in the entire game. Setting the Biochem stuff to need 400 skill does nothing. It just means that people who dropped Biochem have to pick it back up again instead of just using that slot for money making Crew Skills. Being one month post launch is no excuse for shoddy work.
  6. Why would you even add raid marker symbols if the only way to mark them is to right click and then go to two submenus to perform this action?
  7. Why is it that the Artifice bind-on-pickup Rakata quality and Operation dropped 'purple' Relics have no stats on them? I currently have a 'blue' Relic that gives 270 power as a clicky effect but also +52 endurance and the level 50 'purple' version that drops in an Operation has 300 power as a clicky effect (same cooldown mind you) but ZERO endurance or any stat of any kind. The Rakata version is up to 380 power, which is a significant increase over the 'blue' as a clicky effect but then again most Rakata gear already is a significant increase by its very nature and so I would expect the click effect to be quite high AND to have Endurance on the item. Quite simply 520 hit points isnt worth the additional power on a 2minute cooldown. (Not to mention that the Bind on Pickup Artifice Relics are utter crap compared to the Biochem created infinite use stims/adrenals/medpacks...but thats a question for another day)
