This system will eat this game up. Dont worry its a great system and will run TOR at max settings. Ignore the troll saying it wont.

Im sure BW have server merges in the works. There is a DF coming, although this wont help the feeling of been on a dead server. So im sure server merges will be the next big thing to roll out. Hopefully before DF.
BW opened to many servers, this is a fact. So the only solution is a server merge. Fingers crossed its soon.
My server at peak times has dropped to around 100 republic on the fleet. Transfer this across into the planets. They have minimal people on each which accounts for a dead world. BW have all this data and im sure they are crunching numbers to get server merges to us ASAP.
The legacy system and name system is what is holding this up.

Someone who happens to disagree with you is not a troll. And they have the right to post as many times as they feel they need to as a paying customer. You then have the right to ignore those posts or refute them. Calling them a troll tho is just silly.
A troll is someone that knows something has been brought up, and is in the proccess of getting fixed via the company. Yet the a troll keeps on posting the same thing, In that time. The troll will then go on to post made up numbers to try and back up his claim and wants.
Pretty much most of the OPs posts are like this
"I want X-server LFD every other solution doesnt work, ill post made up numbers to try and back up this claim"

Listen friend. a lot of ppl that i gave the code have play atm with 110 - 100 fps very improving for them.
the idead of this code is to give to your proccesor of your pc on Swtor much focus than other tasks.. also when u save the File as .bat u will Run it from your bat file ! not from your launcher as before! , trust im not not lier or something like that. it works perfectly.
You can do this by simply going into Task manager, Right clicking on the SWTOR exe when its running, And select high priority. This gives more resources to the program when its running.

Its one of the original servers but it still would not matter since we have X-server everything there.
But this doesnt help with the dead server issue. A server merge adds to the worlds population, while allowing people to group up. x-server just gets people into an instance.
No point picking an option when it only helps one situation, when the other option helps all the issues. Imm guessing this is the OPs point. Not because of the lack of population, but to QQ to get x-server DF?
He even made up numbers on a WoW server which doesnt actually hold that amount at peak times. Says it all really!

Let's talk completely hypothetical here. I know for some of you it may be difficult, but let's just try it for fun?
What if from the moment the game launched, BW allowed you to change your Advanced Class any time you wanted, for a large cost of credits, much like re-speccing, and the cost doubled everytime you changed it.
Would people be coming here to complain about how gamebreaking it was, and how much they were against the feature that was already in the game from the beginning?

But we all know about MMO classes, we know how trinity based MMOs are set up. so why would anyone accept that switching classes is a good thing. If BW would of stated, "yes you can change your class anytime you want from the get go" They would of had a **** storm to deal with. It wouldnt of been accepted. So your hypothetical assumtions is...well.... bull.

All Bioware had to do is have some Elite Containment Soldiers patrol the Space Station and take out anyone who is infected.... This would of kept the Space Station free of the disease and discourage players from camping on the station and provide a safe zone....
Their other mistake was they should of made the serum free instead of charging 2k credits.....
Pretty simple solution but as usually over looked by Bioware....
Overlooked? It was the point of the event. To be immune you had to dig into your pocket. 2k...big wow.

2 types of players
MMO players - SWG fans, EVE fans etc
Theme Park fans - instant gratifiaction crowd who wants things done for them - WOW, TOR, GW2 and all the rest of the theme park so-called MMOs.
To me this is a shame, the genre is no longer true to MMOs. MMOs used to be about finding adventrue, creating your own adventure. Now its push a button, portal, rush, troll, badge/ratio, no community spirit.
All you got to do is look at this forum. SWGs forum was never like TORs or WoWs, Never.
These kids today think these so-called MMOs are MMOs, not really, there linar games with the ability to collect gear.....meh

all i said was my tv can do 240 fps without screen tearing. it adds frames to make the picture more fluid.
my point was you can see a difference, and when the TV does the upscale for movies it looks fake, but when it does it in a videogame it looks smoother.
refresh rate doesnt generate frames. It refreshes the screen at a high speed. which means if your system can run 240 fps. and your monitor can refresh at 240hz. You wont get screen tearing. But it does not ADD or GENERATE framerates. Only you GPU can do this.

I did say that, because that's not computer rendered 240fps.
Some quasy-tv-calculated-voodoo is not rendered 240fps.
If that were the case I could use GPU that does 10fps, and let TV 'render' rest to smooth it out.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
I think the lad who you are replying to thinks refresh rates generates frame rates from looking at his posts. if only I could get hold of one of these magic framerate generatiing monitors.

Where is your 80 fps in warzones? I don't see any picture where people are fighting infront of you in a crowd with 80 fps. Please come back when you have some solid proof and I'll gladly accept defeat.

Bioware clearly stated it's not an engine problem due to the loss of fps. Uh, it just feels like a loop, none of this is getting to you.
first of all. look back to my last post. Because yours has low FPS, why does this make it so for others. My 7970 + i7 2700k + 16gig of ram runs it like a dream. do i have to prove this. No... why not. because if i wasnt getting that frame count i would be ****** and posting questions like yourself. That should be proof enough. Ilum yeh that was another matter. but WZ are tip top for me.
Dont get me wrong, I wont accpet BW answer stating the engine is fine as we all know ilum. So im your side reguarding this. But dont think just because your system has issues, everyone has issues. this is the point. If you read back through this thread, there are many with epic systems with issues, and many with no issues. which points to the engine.

However, the game engine so bad that it gives me 30 fps once in Warzones. WHICH IS NOT EVEN REMOTELY POSSIBLE.
The real issue is Warzones, warzones and warzones. DO YOU COMPREHEND? The engine doesn't function well when there are people infront of you doing shizz. Stop defending stuff that isn't properly working you Biodrones.

And you still don't understand the issue here. Bioware have stated it's not their problem. YOU, Sillenna, state that their engine has a problem and needs tweaking.
The company behind the game is saying the game is working as intended, which is a huge lie.

but i get around 80 fps in warzones. So because you get a low FPS, you point the finger else where?
We know the engine needs optimising more, but not all systems run this game like crap. so people can only post what how there systems run the game. Mine runs it sweet as a nut, with fraps running. but hey, it runs like pap just because yours does.

Today, playing on Tatooine with 80 or so players on the planet, most of wich were near the wreck with me, i had framerates of 90 as highest and 70 as lowest.
Ive got everything set to highest (and vsync off).
this is my machine:
i5-2500k (quad) @3.3ghz
16G RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
it didnt cost me much to buy, so i dont so what all the fuss is about when it comes to having the "newest, best" grahpics cards...
i mean, do you really need to have framerates over 100??
Simple really. Other games like Bf3, metro etc. Not all gamers just play one game. I bought my 7970 for the sole reason i wont have to upgrade for a long time. I can have all the bells and whistles on in every game. Its not about bragging rights. Its about the games themselves with me.

i still get 120fps with my gtx590 on my rig i7-3930K @ 3.20GHz overclocked to 4.3GHz, 32gb of ram and ofc a SSD drive. im skeptical on the 680 as it's still 1g ram less than my 590
not to mention we are running a dx9 game instead of dx11.Obviously you cant mean TOR as TOR is capped at 111fps. So no one gets over 111fps in TOR.

8 hours is really pushing it don't you think?
Its 4 hours, A guildy got the egg at 10:30 in the morning. So i made sure i was there at 2:20, the egg spawned bang on 2:30.

I think it's pretty much safe to say that you need a video card for this game that has A LOT of video memory. 2-4 Gigs of video memory is probably going to give you the best performance and load times.
I have a 7970 with 3gig. when using afterburner in game. The game actually only uses just short of 2gig memory.

Server merg all the way, x-server LFG turns the game into a lobby game. MMOs are about adventrue and socializing to get things done. Not pushing a button, leave the match making systems to consoles.
not to mention we are running a dx9 game instead of dx11.

If BW bring in items which help statistics for cash. Ill be gone and im sure most of my guild will move on. If its cosmetic, and if BW save all the best looking stuff for a microtransaction shop. Ill be gone and im sure most of my guild will leave.
If we pay a sub, which we do. We should be entitiled to everything BW create for this game.
To many companies have started this MT thing and now save all the best stuff for the MT shops. In my opinion in an MMO were people pay a sub, this is wrong.
