  1. Good evening, Not sure if you will agree with me, but in my humble opinion, melee dps are falling apart in PvE. Operations aren't thought for melees, our DpS is gimped because of the movement circumstances in most of the bosses, and we need to be in the back of the mobs to maximize our skills. Compared to ranged DPS, we are almost useless in this aspect. Our lethality tree is a pain. We cannot gain Tactical Advantage unless we go melee range, so we can't take advantage of the ranged skills that we gain (mainly cull). I agree that healing operatives are really good, but is this the only possibility that we have in PvE ? It's a bit sad.
  2. 16:39 CET (1 hour after logging) Position in Queue 922 17:39 CET (2 hours after logging) Position in Queue 560 18:39 CET (3 hours after logging) Position in Queue 196 19:06 CET (3 hours 27 minutes after logging in) I'm in   UNNACCEPTABLE
  3. Man, that hurts, I admit it. I won't play the next few days to see if this calms down, because I haven't paid for this mess.

  5. That's what I will do for the next 30 days, then I won't pay the subscription. Welcome to a new fiasco like Conan ?
  6. I would agree with you during the beta, or even in the EGA phase, but... man, I have paid for a service that I am not getting, so I get nervous, specially because I don't have so much time to play, so I need to carefully look after my time. SWTOR release was delayed to make sure they have a really finished product. What's your feedback? And no, please, don't be a fanboy, you have to be able to think by yourself and make your own ideas. Forget this is a game. Think of it as a produt. You are buying something that you can't use. You are paying for incredibly long queues. However, the game looks really good so far. Now, Bioware and EA are in hurry to fix this asap, or else... guess what will happen? Personally I can't spend 3-4 hours in a queue, because I have 2 hours to play, so I will quit for sure if this is not fixed within the next 2-3 weeks
  7. 16:39 CET (1 hour after logging) Position in Queue 922 17:39 CET (2 hours after logging) Position in Queue 560 Whoever has designed the 'Estimated Wait' formula should reconsider his/her aptitudes ¬¬
  8. 16:39 Position in Queue 922 So... about 500 positions during afternoon. Let's see how much time does it take
  9. I can't understand the server management. Considering something similar happened in WoW, and Blizzard decided to implement the free character transfer from overcrowded servers to other severs with 'light' population, don't you think it would happen the same? According to Bioware, the server capacity was limited during the EGA days to avoid more players joining the already overcrowded servers. Now we have reached the release date and we have exactly the same queues we had during the EGA. So... are we being 'deceived'? ^^
  10. 15:39 CET Server: ToFN Estimated Wait < 1h35m Position in Queue: 1442 Do you really think I will be in after 1h35m? I bet for 3 hours
  11. At 8:35 am CET I have had 45 minutes queue (the queue said 20 but I am already 40 min and almost in, I still have 15 persons ahead)
  12. 14:08 pm CET (server ToFN): Position in Queue 678, Estimated Wait < 45 min It is not normal than on a working day you have to wait around 45 minutes to get in. Btw, yesterday I gave up after 4 hours waiting. This is not a nice gaming experience. For the people who say these EGA days are free, maybe you should consider that you have prepaid the game, so it's not free. You will have to pay the full price of the game now or loose the 10 € (Even if you recover your reservation costs, it's not free yet, as the money was not in your account during that period, that's basic finance knowledge). But that's not the point, the point here is that servers are extremely poor, which is not good fo the game publicity. The game is nice, the background is great, but the servers are really bad. It must be fixed and it has to be done fast, since we are in Christmas and there are a lot of people who won't be able to play so much after Xmas holidays. EDIT: I was finally in at 15.25 which is 1h17m instead of the 'suggested' of less than 45 minutes. Queues waiting time needs to be fixed as well.
  13. Agree 100% with your view. You have perfectly explained my own case.
  14. I disagree. WoW had queues, but they were minutes, not hours like it happens here. Yesterday I waited 6 hours to play, then I got disconnected after 40 minutes. As you may expect, I didn't want to play again. I may try for a few days more, but if this is going to be the pattern, I won't give this game a chance. I am paying for this game, I am not a tester, so I expect that when I pay money for a product, the product is ready. Bioware has 1 month to get servers working properly. They better hurry...
  15. Playing since 08.30 in the morning, got d/c at 10.30 and I have 1300 people queue now (estimated waiting time 1h30m). Is this a joke? Bioware must do something, otherwise lot of people will not play more than the starting month. And this is not a problem with this server only, more than 50% of the servers are full and with queues
  16. Kal-Ekh, the same thing happened in WoW, it was only fixed when there were specific servers for these nationalities. I agree it is complicated to foreseen these issues, but when you decide to go with servers for English, French and German, you know that you are taking a serious risk with Italian, Spanish and Russian groups (mainly, these are the countries that provide the biggest groups which are not included in the former distribution). Therefore, there is always something that can be done, and it's not acceptable to have such big queues in half of the servers in the early access phase, of more than 1 hour in some cases, even reaching 2-3 hours in Tomb of Freedon Nadd.
  17. The point is that, if we already have so big queues when the game is before the oficial release, I don't even want to imagine what's going to happen on 20th. Bioware could have suggested 1-2 servers to Spain, Italy or any other country players so this scenario wouldn't have occurred. This happens when you don't plan the work.
