I leveled a character to 50 on a pvp server and encountered 2 republic players the entire time.. there was no contact between the two sides.. no reason to go out and find them (No player citys or faction citys to attack) At the momment there's not enough solid content imo, guildbanks and legacy reward trinkets and the like are just bells and whistles, the game needs some meat, something that effects the entire server enough that both factions would fight to attain it or defend it! I mean there's ment to be a WAR on people! So why are we all hanging about in huttball? In war you target strategic points, supply lines, armaments etc, though in the Starwars Universe I expect it to be on a much grander scale like planets (like the clone wars). Invade and capture them (cross server?) win them and the resourses for the war effort (possible unlocks that require resources in the tens of thousands, collected by many players) then move to the next.. cause it to influence waroom story cutscenes in the quest hubs (eg admiral miff-maff and friends around a holoscreen commenting on current planet losses and gains based on player actions He reccommends taking planet X and gives a bonus or incentive of some sort to purswade players to invade or retake certain planets guided by npc story telling. Where as Darth bingo on the other side predicts the enemy would strike the same planet as admiral miff-maff states, giving them incentives, thus forcing the two factions to collide) These ideas are just off the top of my head and with refinement perhaps could be something really appealing especially the idea of fleets sending pods down like at the start of ET (I was like omg thats awesome).. touching down commando style with players and npc bots alike, taking out sheilds, gun towers, planting bombs, pushing the enemy back off planet.. influencing the story and then going for the next planet after a timer (a day or week? perhaps to stop an all out grind and allows the losing faction to regroup and fill out numbers) Why limit it to the ground? Why not have a seperate conflict to control orbital bombardment platforms above the planet under seige simultaneously and rain down nuclear hell on enemy faction bases.. (ref to darth malek on taris?) or take airfields and allow players to bombing runs based like the space missions but in the atmosphere, flying over players heads? or maybe not

Heya folks, so I love ranged dps nothing better than spanking mobs monsters and players alike from afar Obviously folks want to play their class to the best of their ability, be it maxing out their dps/healing/aggro etc, What do you folks do for your shot rotations to get the best balence of dps while keeping your heat down for as long as possible? I myself have found putting 3 tracer missiles on the target (with that talent that allows 2 heat signitures instead of 1) followed by rail shot and homing missile, deal a huge ammount of damage without maxing out my heat. taking a brief pause to get a few rapid shots in to allow my heat to go down to approx 25% and firing the odd tracer missile to keep my armor reduction stack and popping another heat seeking missile or rail shot when they are off cooldown. what do you folks use or reccommend to put out the most you can?
