  1. I appreciate this thread. I am currently comparing my 30 operative, jugg and merc to determine which to continue. I tried lethality/medicine hybrid last night and did very well with it. The doomsayers on the forums had me concerned it wouldnt be valid at 50 so i appreciate the constructive post!
  2. How does Alacrity affect operatives? Is deadly Directive worth the 2 pts for +4% to alacrity?
  3. How does concussion missle work in pvp? what is the duration and does dmg interrupt it? Is it single target?
  4. that was pre 1.1.1, those types of crits are no longer possible. 3.5k smash is a regular tho.

    Where does juggernaut stand as an end game pvp dps class? You hear alot about nerf or buff other classes, not much about jugg. I know they are very gear dependant, but how are well skilled and well geared juggs fairing in the 50 bracket?

  11. I'm playing with both of these classes trying to choose the one with more high end pvp potential. Here is how i have them broken down: Merc(Pyro): Incredible AOE DMG, above average single target dmg. Decent survivability through mobile dmg, knockback, shielding, heavy armor and healing. poor utility, electro dart, jet pack. Notable weakness No interrupt. Notable strength powerful instacast ranged dmg. Great hybrid healing. --------------------- Operative(conceal) Incredible single target melee dmg, decent single target ranged dmg, poor aoe dmg. Low survivability, virtually none if vanish is down. Good utility threough flashbang, debilitate, disrupt, jarring strike. Notable weakness big target when out of stealth, lack of knockback or mobility makes teamwork a challenge. Notable strength Energy and health HoT with stim boost makes this class the strongest energy management. Well rounded toolset. ---------------------- Would like to hear some other opinions on this comparison before i push one to 50.

  14. Then perhaps i should rephrase, As a merc i seem to do very, very well in group pvp, but i notice i lose alot of isolated 1v1 fights. is this a L2P or is merc weak in 1v1 and strong in group?
  15. My regular pvp group consists of any combination of 3 of the following: Sorc, Mara, Mara, Assasin, Assasin, Powertech Which class do you think would best compliment this group in pvp?

  17. Im just settling into my merc, im curious at 50 which classes give you a hard time 1v1. Right now, snipers and sorcs are tearing me up. please also post your build.

  19. could someone who has experience with both classes break down a comparison? Im only interested in pvp, i like a high skill cap class with versatility. I'm much more interested in pyrotech merc since i dont dig the lack of mobility with tracer.

  21. boo hoo If the rest of the forums are flooded with people bragging/crying about how solid mercs are and you cant kill anyone i am prone to think you need a seminar.

  23. does operative ranged dmg scale at higher levels? I rarely see anyone mention operatives using anything but stabs
  24. Ive been having fairly good luck with operative at mid to close range, with grenade, corrosive dart, and carbine shot. Maybe that changes at higher level (im 28) but for the moment, the range on operative has helped me kill many jugg/mara/assasin by staying out of melee.
