  1. My 2 cents worth after reading a whole host of issues with the game. SWTOR has a ton of potential, its quite fun to play, that said I have cancelled my subscription. I do hope to come back to the game in a few months when/if they have sorted out it's many issues. Posting the here seems to get more of response (good or bad) than trying to contact Bioware directly. The ones that 'bug' me the most, in no particular order are: I don't feel like I am playing an MMO - Single player games with pvp don't need a monthly fee. (I know they will update it but i get updates to fix bugs with no fee from other games). Buggy quests that I am unable to complete - weak Talent trees are a bit rubbish (I choose a place for my nice little point but rarely excited about it) PVP against level 50's (I know its changing but its still stupid, wholesale slaughter is not fun unless you are doing the slaughtering) <insert smart comment regarding people with early game access all nicely geared out already> Difficulty in finding groups for flashpoints - no LFG, standing around in Fleet with nothing to do while I am LFG or trying to put together a group is silly, i would rather be questing or pvp'ing and still LFG. Ability Delay - blarg....nuff said... Most of these things have been mentioned with some being addressed so I didn't want to write loads about them but I don't want to pay a monthly fee for a 3/4 finished game. Have fun if your enjoying it! Bioware - Good luck fixing it, I do really want to play! (oh an try to listen to your customers more and respond to your community better, glossing over things just isn't going to cut it) Peace.
  2. You are right, its trivial. Your are also right, its launch day. If only we had had some early access thing where we could have been playing on the server for like a week to work these issues out. You win the 'i am amazing' award. Gold star to you!
  3. It's 8 am and i have been queuing for 30 mins already. Any chance of a play before the day begins is out of the window.... Seriously? We were assigned to our server as part of the guild launch programme and we can even get on it at this time of day. What are the queue's going to be like at 'peak times' Reasonable they are not....
  4. Agreed, the Sabre throw is iconic! Give us some more range please.
  5. I guess the only thing about this that is really annoying me about this early access is that folks playing now can be reserving a load of character names. I have seen this happing on the game feed found here http://www.twitch.tv/fortyse7en Our guild was preloaded and the server chosen for us, logging in to find all variations of the name I would like to use are taken before the game has officially launched will actually make me extremely frustrated. I have been playing MMO's for over 10 years and never encountered this.
  6. That is such a bad analogy simply because (unless you arrive late) you both get to see the WHOLE movie at the same time just from different seats. That is not what is happening here...
  7. This is so true, irrelevant of the early access intentions. I want to play and yes it is quite annoying that people are in and we are not. I was prepared for it I knew it was going to happen however now it is happening despite my best intentions it is making me angrier and angrier. I am sure when I/we do get in we will all feel better but for the right now it just annoying to read the forums see how unhappy people are. Quite a few of the post I have read contain valid concerns especially with regard to the boost the early access players will get and what this could mean for those coming in later. How will you feel when you do log in to your Guilds preselected server and find out all the variations of the name you planned to use have already been taken before the game has officially even launched? I also think the lack of any idea when people will be getting is silly. A rough idea so that people can plan the next few days (including the coming weekend) would be far more beneficial and considerably cut down on the unhappiness. I know in the official post it was said this has not happened to keep things flexible. But is this flexibility really worth the negativity? Personally early access was a mistake, launch date should have seen everyone get access the same day, I know this causes issues in its own right but at least everyone shares the issues rather than a large group sitting here feeling frustrated.
