  1. Clearly you never had to wait 1 hour in queue for a single warzone.
  2. It's a neutral GTN (not linked to the fleets) on the lower plaza. But i hear it's dead and unused in most servers. A snowball effect like the LFG feature, no one uses it because no one uses it.
  3. Pls, you are 2 of 3 names that i remember from the other thread, because you kept reposting your opinion.
  4. So there are more item types? I've put up a Speeder for Sale and it does not show on the GTN except through a text search. I submitted a ticket already as well. Please adress this.
  5. New, Fresh, working as intended, 95% optional content, with 5% non optional REWARDED content. Unsub?? sense?
  6. Infected vs Non infected even if only for a day or 2 before the event ends and the plague is contained. Now THAT is an epic event. Exponential more complains too from the looks of it.
  7. This is how I see it. A game is filled with 'unavoidable' content. You have to roll with it. The way i see it OP's request is the same as me asking to remove mob agression because i want to do datacron hunting undiusturbed. Personally i'd like it as a plague to be even more forceful, and maybe even flagging you for pvp in an infected vs non infected fashion. That would be epic. But if these rewarded 'deaths' by plague cause such an outcry i shudder at what my preferences would cause
  8. I suppose so lol. @Qura don't use the "poor alts" excuse. If you have alts that are 'that' poor you'd be happy as a spring bird over the money that the samples net you when you're infected. And a no-penalty respawn with rewards is hardly a bad thing. Why does blowing up in a fashionable and pretty manner that bad?
  9. This sums it up. Refrain from outrages when it's new and working as intended content that barely affects you unless you choose so. It ceases to be for the greater good of the game, and by definition makes you a 'whiner'.
  10. I swear everytime i come in the forums there's always these disheartening and tiresome posts of people whining no matter what! It's a world event! It's FUN! You don't have to be involved in it! It's easy to avoid the obvious feverish people, even if you don't it costs you NOTHING! Just respawn on spot! If you don't like respawning there are dirt cheap vaccines!!!!! Such Passionate objection over the most meager things? Unsubbing over a world event and change of routine, over new content? Oh my Goood... This is why we can't have nice things lol. If BW does anything ROARRR!!! If they don't or do the opposite ROOARRR anyway!!! Everyone I know is loving this, and it`s a breath of fresh air. They most certainly need improvements in some parts of the game, but this is DEFINITELY not one of them. kudos to BW.
  11. kinda like except with closed eyes. Emoticon used to express or follow something funny. Better used than the overpopular LOL while you're not actually laughing out loud, yet entertained . here's an example pic to get its essence http://qph.cf.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-e1b487a2f9dc0fc0b723c86c1362bb4d
  12. Appreciated. So it's just /leave <name of channel>?
  13. There are people who enjoy crafting and people that do not. The way I see it, if there is no limit on gathering professions why should there be any on crafting ones? This may be shortsighted of me, but I think removing the limit would benefit both crafters and gatherers. If crafters have access/can afford the mats why not let them pick whatever crafting professions they want? This would also benefit the gatherers (who dislike crafting) by stimulating the economy, in trading and selling of mats. Right now, since you can only have 1 craft skill, most people take the logical option of having the gathering/missions skills for their craft, resulting in little economic flow such as mats not selling well and there being few crafted items for sale in low populations. So the buyers would benefit as well. I think everybody would win from allowing 2 or even 3 crafting skills. Let crafters craft, gatherers gather and buyers buy.
  14. I was fiddling with the chat window, and i found the "Create custom chat" option and tried it. Was able to create a chat "tab" and able to assign it to a /shortcut. What exactly does this do, and what is it for? And how do i delete these, since i created 2 while trying to figure it out lol.
  15. Hi guys. So i just started pvp'ing when i hit 50 because i can't find ppl to start doing hm's and other pve. I'm geared orange gear all with 50 mods (both blue and purple, mostly dailies purples). Thing is I see battlemasters breaking 400k in damage/healing and I sweat really hard just to break 200k, and i'm totally torn apart many times. My questions: How big in practical terms is the gear gap? Big enough to make such a difference? I'm not complaining about it, people who reach battlemaster earned this and grinded a long time. I just want to understand it better to know exactly how much is gear or skill related. Any advice or tips on how to improve my game? What should i focus on? I keybind and know my class (gunslinger) well i believe. Thank you
  16. Is it possible and/or viable to equip 2 matrix cubes?
  17. I'm on Uthar Wynn. 19:44 GMT at the time I started writing this. Nobody in Hoth, 1 person in Corellia, Naar Shadaa and Alderaan, 2 in Coruscant and Tatooine, 3 in Taris and Balmorra, and 5 in Belsavis (did i forget one?). Fleet has 19 counting myself. When i log on more awkward times, i like to streak naked in the fleet because i'm alone and frankly there's nothing better to do. I really like this game but please do something about it. If you're not, say something so I can finally give up my char and my streaking days with lost hope and roll another char somewhere else or unsub (have to give it some thought). I check the forums regularly to see if there is word on this yet. Someone said they are working on transfers. What exactly has been said, can i get a quote?
  18. I'm a slicer since day one and already post nerf. Knowing how it is now the nerf was truly necessary, I seriously can't believe what it was like before. The money had to be ridiculous. 1- For credits run moderate missions (non-stop preferably), in most tiers i believe these have the biggest return on investment. On average somewhere around 40% profit (estimate based on a little statistical test of mine). Always go for green missions where the chance of failure is highly unlikely. Going for yellow and oranges will result in a higher chance of failure that will put a serious dent on your margins. Once 400, run always the rich missions for the chance of a purple 340 drop, that apart from investigation (on my server) , sell for big wads of cash. Also run all your 340 slicing missions, that drop purple 22 augs that can be sold for anywhere between 30k and 130k+ depending on the stat. Presence is pretty much the only ones that don't sell very well. 2-??? 3-Ridiculous profit.
  19. I'm on Uthar Wynn (EU) and the other day I was literally all alone in the Republic Fleet. I'm level 40 and i only came across 3 open pvp encounters, and haven't done a single FP since level 20 because i can't find a group (a tool could also help with this), nor have I done a heroic in a long time. Simply put I'm disappointed because i feel like i'm missing out on actual content and fun. I'm hoping my guild grows even more, and things change as more of us reach 50. I'm not sure population is actually dropping (except for the initial "boom and drop" after launch which is entirely natural), but I sure would like some mergers (or free transfers), there's simply too many servers and not enough people playing. My 2 cents.
  20. Totally!! /sign. Very useful for buying/selling orange weapons on GTN too. Besides it's probably a very easy feature to add. Preview model unholstered. Done. Let us zoom in while you're at it
  21. I completely agree that there should be a LFD tool. Server only though. Granted, it would take more time to form a group, but community and grouping within server should be encouraged. But the way it is now, on my server aleast it's hard enough as it is to find 4 player groups for heroics within the planet. Let alone for flashpoints where half of the potential interested are leveling in some planet and the other half is in the fleet. I missed several FP's i was interested on, because i couldn't find a group and i outleveled them. What i've been doing right now, is assembling what i can in whatever level range planet I am, and then one of us goes to the fleet advertise lfg. It's time consuming, game breaking, and extremely dissapointing when you can't do the things you like, not necessarily because there aren't people up for it but because we lack the tools to find them. In-server or cross server is the only debatable aspect. Pros and Cons to both. I'm personally for in-server only. I can't add anything else to the discussion that hasn't already been said.

    Clickers

I wouldn't shun people for being clickers, it's just a game and you should play how you like. But with that being said, and if you're in for the long haul and want to get the best out of your character start experimenting with key binding. Especially for pvp. When i did my first wz, clicking, it was a mess . You can't see what's going on on account of spending 2/3 of your time looking at the bars. You can't turn as well with the keyboard, rotate up/down to adjust your view or set an aoe precisely. It impairs your movement (strafing and turning becomes awkward). You spend time to move the mouse to the ability (instant abilities become not so instant ) which can lead to underperforming in dps, missing an interrupt, dying or becoming stunned because you didn't get *that* ability on time etc... etc... Those 1/3's and 1/2's (or even whole) seconds really stack up and affect performance during long fights. Keybinding saved my life countless times too
  23. Hello everyone! So right now, I'm a smuggler gs lvl 18 and at first i went with the Armormech, Scavenge, Underworld Trading trio. I'm new to mmo's I chose this thinking I could save some credits by gearing myself and my companions while i level up. But now, from what i've seen with recipe purchases, along with the missions cost + wasted mats on reversing items it seems that to become a decent crafter is more of a credit sink than a boost (or am i wrong?). So I am undecided, do i keep at it? Or should I ditch UT and Armormech for Slicing and (maybe) Archeology, and just sell the mats? Also if i do this, after I reach superior levels (and credits are not so scarce anymore), is reinvesting in a craft skill still worth it? TL;DR: I know there are no rich-quick schemes but what crew skills do you recommend to ease on a noob's pocket? xD Ty all
