Agreed with this. I've pretty much abandoned my first character aside form maxxing out their main crew skill. I just felt bored every time I played them (Sentinel). Many different reasons why. I will go back eventually though and gear them up, respec to something more interesting and play again. Maybe try doing something different for xp. I've also got a high 40s I'm not playing with, but not abandoned. I enjoy playing them a lot (Commando/healing/4X) but once I hit 50 I know I will lose interest. I also enjoy the planet they're on and don't want to leave it lol. Agreed with the others as well, change their gear, respec, try different companions. Or just reroll and come back to them later.

It's a good idea but it doesn't work. I have seen systems like that used and it is abused by bullies. It's basically giving more power to the ones causing the problems in the first place. Exactly. I usually just turn off chat if it's really bad.

Sounds good, the game is awesome and I know I certainly love to play it. They've got my appreciation. Bugs do happen sometimes in games (this is my 4th MMO - 5th if you count HKO <-LOL I wouldn't), and it's nice they got the companion bug fixed within a day. I have no complaints about the game itself, maybe some ideas I think would be cool to add but not complaints. Also, I have only ever sent in two tickets for anything and got responses very quickly both times. That is appreciated as well. It's nice to see threads posting appreciation and positivity pop up. Btw, nice forum avatar OP!

Argh that happens to me so much in this game. I've resorted to just grabbing the item first when possible and then fighting the mobs. It's especially annoying when there are other mission items around that they could get without having to ninja yours lol. If there's only the one item and someone is fighting a mob guarding it I will wait my turn, but I do not see that very often from other players.

/signed ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well hopefully you never have to experience the kind of players that make you wish there were better ignore options. Not everyone is so lucky and delicate sensibilities have nothing to do with it. My ignore list only has a couple of people on it but it has multiple names because it's the same people using different alts (and some delete the ignored character and make a new one to harrass with). They could make it so that you could choose between ignoring just the character or their whole Legacy for the people that don't like the idea.

It also defines those who cause people to not want to group up. My reasons for not going out of my way to group have pretty much all been posted throughout this thread. MANY different things contribute. I will group if it's convenient or if I'm in the mood to have the patience to deal with a possible disaster, not completely against grouping though. OP you said you tried 45 times? If I see someone excessively asking to group in chat it makes me think they might be the type who can't get anything done without a group which usually means trouble. Especially the people who practically demand help and then insult everyone in chat because no one will group with them (not saying this is you, just giving an example).

Account ignore would be nice also.

Sorry to bump a very old thread but I just did this on my Shadow and was so disappointed! I had already done the original mission on two other characters choosing the light option both times and was very curious what would happen if I chose dark. This time around I am going dark and I was looking forward to finally finding out. Had the red Ilum mission in my log for so long and finally got to a high enough level to go check it out and *fizzle*, it was a letdown. It seemed unfinished maybe? It would be nice if they added more to it. More storyline, at least some extra darkside points or something!

Question~ If you put someone on ignore can they still add you to Friends and see when you log on or off? Also just a comment to people who say victims allow it to happen to themselves, you have no idea the extent some of the online bullies can go in their harrassment and how it can cross over into criminal behavior..and you are very lucky because of that.
