  1. So I'm looking to play a Sith warrior, and before 3.0 hit planned to go marauder for Ataru form simply because it's my favorite lore-wise. But I've seen lots of complaints about the new 3.0 sent/mara, but most seems to be based on pvp. And I don't want to play an ac that would just be frustration the whole time. Can anyone weigh in on how mara performs in pve? Or should I just go juggernaut?
  2. Unfortunately non-humanoids races would take a lot of development work to make happen. New models would be needed for armor, animations, etc. Where with humanoids they can just pin a head to the human body and call it good. And since EA, like P.Diddy, is all about the Benjamin's, I don't see much chance they ok the coat of making new models vs making more humanoids. Which makes me sad... I've always wanted an Ithorian Jedi.
  3. Yes, sorcerers use a single lightsaber. Make sure the one you choose says main hand for it's equip slot.
  4. I noticed this on my sorcerer in the late 40s/early 50s too. Then it all seemed to change around 53 for some reason. I started killing things too quickly for much damage to get through, and khem wasn't falling down every fight. Maybe it was just when I got used to the changes, not sure. But it does get better as a sorcerer, now at 60 I'm having all kinds of fun, and rarely lose khem (sometimes I get a little -too- ambitious). Keep grinding it out! You get some gear during forged alliances quest line to help make up any deficit you might have at 55, I know I did, and the bump in gear level made a huge difference as well.
  5. I really enjoyed playing my hybrid sorcerer before 3.0 hit simply because it gave me an incentive to use FL. It seems like now there is little reason for those in the discipline named for the iconic power, Lightning/Force Lightning, to use their own namesake force power. I'm only level 50, so I haven't seen if higher levels give the incentive to use it again and haven't been able to actually try gameplay without it due to work. I'm mostly disappointed from a flavor standpoint right now as losing game mechanics doesn't really matter to me. FL is such an iconic ability to not have be useful to the discipline with the same name. So for those of you higher levels out there in the lightning spec... Is there a reason higher up to start considering FL for Lightning spec or is it just a filler ability that will always lose priority to most other abilities? If there isn't, do any of you use it just for the flavor of feeling "Palpatine-ish"?
