  1. Hello, I havnt played SWTOR in years and wanted to give it a try again. I used to play world of warcraft and did battlegrounds and arena matches there casually. I havnt played the last few expansions but the way it used to work is you would do unranked pvp to get a currency to then buy gear and then from there get the ranked pvp going to get the better gear. Does swtor 6.0 work similarly? I remember swtor having some sort of scaling mechanic so people werent too behind each other gear wise, is this still the case? Are there any common pitfalls people who havnt played swtor before fall into? Thanks
  2. Thank you for the reply. I am on the east coast and am playing on an east coast server called the ebon hawk. According to speedtest my ping is 12ms, download 15mbps and upload 29mbps. Usually someone is watching tv and sometimes netflix on the network but that appears to be it. When i played FF14 someone mentioned using a vpn(which i used to help ) because they said verizon customers were having trouble specifically. Does any of this help?
  3. I have recently returned to SWTOR after a very long break and i am having some issues. I am not sure if this is my connection or not. I have verizon fios and when i played FF14 they said that fios had to do wtih some of my issues. When I alt+tab out or into a window, it takes a very long time and stays on the loading screen for a while, or if there was not loading screen it makes a new one. When i use Crowd control on an enemy in a warzone it looks like there is some 1 second delay from when i press it and when it connects and finally where the player inevitably ends up Sometimes the game just pauses for a second, and then resumes If you had any of these issues, what did you use to resolve them? Thanks
