  1. Which class are you playing? Most of the people with this bug are Inquisitors, from what I've heard
  2. was that 60 an Inquisitor? Because from what I've seen, they are the only ones getting this bug
  3. I have the same issue. I picked the "Ally" option and he's gone. Playing Inquisitor
  4. I hope they fix Xalek. You can't even use him after recruiting him. He doesn't even show up in the new base or in the Contact List
  5. If this is one of those "No take backs" cases, then they should make the options describe what you're actually doing. This was either "Follow me again, fool" or "Not as an apprentice. As an ally." I thought I was showing respect. And instead I was rejecting him. It should say: "Will join you" or "Will not join you" after the different options
  6. @Tivel I thought I was being nice to him, but NOOOOO. No take backs. I'm so furious, you have no idea haha
  7. Yeah I read it, but as far as I can tell, there's no way to go back on that decision
  8. EDIT: As it turns out, I might have just fallen victim to the Xalek bug. It turns out that it's impossible to get him right now, no matter what. And since I didn't get the achievement for declining, I should be fine once they fix it in 3 years. I met Xalek on Ilum and accidentally told him that I wanted him as an Ally, instead of a blind follower. I thought I was just being nice, but it turns out I turned him down. HE IS THE MAJOR REASON WHY I PLAY INQUISITOR, AND NOW HE'S GONE. There needs to be more of an indication that you're turning them down, before you pick the "wrong" answer. And is there any way for me to get him back? He's just too good of a character, and I can't believe I can't get him now.
  9. Where do I get those boots? They are perfect for one of my characters!
  10. Because most of the time helmets go for 500k credits or more on the GTN. And to get it into my collection and unlock it for my entire account, I need to get either the entire set or just buy the same helmet for 500k everytime I want a new one. I've already spent so many credits to unlock sets for my collection. I just want there to be at least SOME gear that's being added into the game that isn't either on the Cartel Market or End-Game gear. I get the whole "They need to make money some way since it's F2P". Yes they do, that's 100% true. That doesn't mean they can't still add gear into the game that doesn't require a market to acquire. And you don't have to agree with me, I'm not trying to convince you to agree with me. I'm just spewing out my opinion on the current state of the game. That's all.
  11. There are a total of 19 helmet variations for Troopers. Half of those are based on the other half. Half looks like buckets, and 9 of them are level 50+. There are so many ways they can go with helmets, and yet they choose to play it safe. I specifically mention the Snowtrooper helmet because that's one of the things that got me extremely hype for the game pre-release. It showed off some really cool customization options, and for some reason, when Bioware released Rise of the Hutt Cartel, they removed ALL of the item sets for level 50. Why? Six of them have been shown to return in Cartel Market packs, over a year after they were removed. I don't like to call things "cash-grabs" but this whole ordeal is utter and total bull. -------------------------------------------------------------------
  12. I am very aware that this is a voiced topic, but come on. The helmet variety in SWTOR needs a kick in the butt, and not through the Cartel Market. I mostly play as a Mercenary and a Vanguard and I am not happy with the different amount of headpieces I am able to acquire. The coolest part about the Troopers in the movies and games, for me at least, is the helmet and coloring variety and when Bioware were developing the game I saw this picture of what looked like a Snowtrooper. I was amazed. Then when I really started playing a Trooper, they removed the old level 50 armor sets. No more Snowtrooper. And I was already a bit let down by the amount of headpieces, but this took the cake. And before someone jumps in and just asks me to quit the game or something: I really enjoy the game and I've been following this specific part of the Star Wars Universe since Kotor was released, I'm not leaving. I just feel like they need to dump in some gosh darn helmets into the game. Be it for commendations, reputation or whatever, just don't throw in all new gear via the Cartel Market. We, the players, deserve better. (End of rant) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13. I'm looking into getting that done by tomorrow, thanks for the kind words
