  1. According to Stephen Reid, they will increase the capacity and the amount of servers avaible, through out the early access period. From twitter, : And his response was:
  2. Its not like they wont be allowed on to the server, if the server is "full", they will just have to go through a queue in order to get on to the server, so don't worry about it You will get ot play with you friends, family and even your guiild.
  3. I'm glad to hear that, and hopefully with the staggered early access they will it under control, so the servers will continue to be as smooth as you say Lookibng forward for my invite, that hopefully will come sometime today or tomorrow, although I am leaning more and more towards tomorrow
  4. Yes and no But then they should have labled it as one of the additional perks on the actual package, but then again. When I pre-ordered my Collectors Edition they even talk about there would be a early access, as far as I remember. If they did I would have preordered my CE about 15 days earlier But I am not complaining, it sucks that I am not able to play right now, but I hope I will be tomorrow, but 1-5 days extra gameplay doesn't really make the huge deal for me. Although my F5 will properly say otherwise, poor button, if I had to feel sorry for anybody I would truelyfeel sorry for that button
  5. So far I have been listening to the SWTOR music soundtrack on Youtube and been readign and writing on the forums, I'll properly put some of the movies on later, and keep hitting that F5 button while I wait I can't seem to focus enough to go in and play any particular game at this point.
  6. Haha yeah, I was kind happy when I found the forum opened up agan, I was starting to miss it a little bit Its unbelieveiable, that only a few hours ago there wans't any posts here except the official posts, and now there is over 9000, and thats just on the General section lol. But yeah the forum along with some of the music from the SWTOR Soundtrack, helps out a lot, while waiting for the EGA to arrive.
  7. My friend just got his hard-copy by mail a few hours ago, and I believe in 2 days ( on the 15th ) I'll be able to go down to the local Blockbuster and get my Collectors Edition that I pre-ordered back in August. oh well back to the topic. You need the EARLY ACCESS code in order to play from now till the 20th December and after that you will need a active subscription applied to your account to play from the 20th and onwards, but that will automaticly come with your product-key. So just go ahead and register your product key, the subscription time on it will, wont start counting before the 20th December Enjoy.
  8. It really isn't unknown wait because we all know that we will get in before the 20th Decemebr anyways, and I am sure if the Queue + Lag would be there for quite a while, not making it a very fun experience. Right now, right here I would properly say "Queue + Lag", however on a longer term basis I would simply be annoyed if I would be dealing with high lagg, server disconnects and etc. so in the long term I would properly Have to say "Unknown wait".
  9. Yeah for the EU servers its far too early to say really, however some of the US servers already seems to have been decided, to be one of the upcomming top-pvp servers for the community around it, but as far as I am ware no such server has been decided in Europe. But hey just join a PvP server, and I am sure you will find plenty of PvP, and World PvP to no matter which server you choose
  10. If you played in one the betas after the 25th November, then you don't need to uninstall, then you can simply jsut open the client and let it update itself and you will be ready to to go once you receive your early access Thats the information that has been given through forum posts, emails, twitter messages and even on the preparation page that you can find on this website.
  11. Respect to all of those who actually did participate in the General beta test, in order to report bugs and all that kind of stuff, but I also believe alot of those people who where fortuante enough to get invited to the gneeral beta test, just played the game rather than do what they where invited for. Anyways back to the topic, no I don't think you should be give anything special despite what you may / may not have done for the SWTOR community by testing the game before it was released, but it all comes down to one thing, "luck". Most general beta testers where randomly selected, and special items shouldn't be given to be people who got randomly selected, even if those items doesn't do anything for you in-game, I still see it as unfair to those of us who only got to participate in the weekend beta test, or for those who didn't get to participate at all.
  12. I'm being as patient as I can be, however the 13 kid within me, really can't wait much longer I'm just sitting here and chilling the forum, while listening to the SWTOR music that Bioware have released on the internet to this point, its always interestign to be experience the launch of a new game, especially a game as big asthis one. My F5 button, will however tell you a complete different story.
  13. Indeed, although you may not agree with their Early Access model, you can't really complain at all. Afterall you are getting into the game before the actual launch, and so far we can't really comment on the launch, because it havn't happened yet. This is early access, not launch.
  14. Well basicly 1½-2 horus between waves, but then again you can't make a estimate by only taking the first 2 waves into consideration, and we odn't know how many waves of invite per day they are gonna be sending out either But lets hope for the best, and in the end lets hope they made the proper preparation, and that they staggered early access plan works out so we can avoid playing on laggy, crowded or even offline servers
