I guess the point of the betrayal is going to be that we didn't see it coming. But with all the info we have on satele and Theron not only from the game, but also the books and comics, it seems like it would be a pretty crazy leap for it to be them. Betraying a DS outlander is one thing, but pulling everyone into a galactic conflict that is going to cost a ton of lives on all sides doesn't compute. Why not just try to assassinate the outlander if they are the problem?

That's why I'm leaning towards it being the scions or someone boring like that. Single player game, no big deal if someone you wanted to keep betrays you, because you can always reload a save or do another playthrough etc. But with swtor idk how they would handle it if it were Lana or Theron. A lot of people are very invested at this point. Myself included

We know Theron cares for her, but that much? Enough to betray not only his family and the republic, but the alliance he's worked for so hard, and the love of his life? (Or good friend if you don't romance him) That would be weak. They can do much better than that.

Plus there was how strange he was acting in the very beginning. Why would he have had that sad/guilty/upset look on his face? It'd be such weak writing if it's him though. Unless they are so good that they are trying to make us think it it him, only to pull the rug out at the last second and reveal who it really is. But since when has their writing been that subtle? I mean I adore bioware but Risha, Scorpio, Baras, etc. the twists and betrayals were never really a surprise. If it's Lana OR Theron I guess they could make it work. Depending on who you pissed off the most. But if they make it just Theron I will probs unsub. And I've been playing since beta. It would just be way too out of character, especially if you are playing a LS toon. Guess we just have to wait and see

Cracking, maybe. But he's been through some **** before too. Plus this stuff has been in the works for some time as we learned with the uprising info and everyone being pitted against each other on iokath. Before his dad is involved.

I'm not sure about Theron killing Jace though. I mean he missed like three shots when the dude was right in front of him. He's a better shot than that XD Plus it's the chair that kills Acina and Jace, as far as I'm aware.

That's a good point about Tyth just trying to rile you up. But I don't see the story going forward without getting rid of the alliance. They did what they set out to do, and the fact that the devs made it clear that imps and pubs are gonna be at each other's throats again. Seems like betrayal is a good way to tear it all down.

The problem with it being malgus or jadus or whatever, is that it wouldn't be a betrayal. And they made a big deal about that part of it. I could see Theron betraying a super DS character, because killing innocent people is pretty damn far from his MO. But would Lana betray a LS character? Doesn't make sense.

Been playing since beta and I would def unsub too if they did that to Theron. Like you said, that would be the last straw for me.

Kira or Jaesa would be interesting, but it can't be them. They make it clear it is a betrayal, and most of the classes have never heard of either of those two people. If it is Lana or Theron they'd better come up with a damn good reason. Logically it would make no sense, but I don't have much faith right now

That's true about trust, and gods know a lot of the player characters in swtor have trust issues, but it's a far cry for those two. Trying to kill you and wipe out any semblance of order in the galaxy is a hell of a long way from talking bad about someone behind their back. I just don't see it making sense with Lana or Theron.

Oh god D: That is a good thought though. I just reeeeally don't want it to be Lana or Theron. Not only does it not make sense, but everyone seems to love them. Or at least like them. Maybe they are going to make it whichever one of them you have pissed off the most. I could see Theron not being on board for a full dark character. And my pure light toon that romances Theron has let Lana down on like every choice... This is very upsetting

If they end up making it Theron or Lana that is going to be some seriously bad writing. It just makes zero sense for it to be either. Tyth says something about the traitor being full of anger and pain. That's not the case with either Lana or Theron. I know one is a spy and the other led sith intelligence, but what could the motives possibly be for them?

I was sooo excited for Theron too Definitely a bummer hearing the news. They are both so much more interesting than any of the NPCs we've seen since launch IMO.

This storyline is the first in a loooong time that is interesting (to me). I would LOVE if they became companions. I agree that they're both leaders, and they wouldn't really fall in and follow someone around easily. But each pc is pretty damn important in their respective faction, so it's doesn't seem that far fetched to me that they could work together. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking because <3 Theron,

I would love love LOVE to have a *no* tattoo option for Mirialans, Ratatakki and Zabrak. I'm all for tats, but it just doesn't fit some of my characters. It seems like such an easy addition and would be appreciated by quite a few others I know
