  1. As others said, dart and grenade are your only poisons if you have culling. Also Vector has a skill that counts as a poison so in pve if you use him as your companion you can have 3 poisons rolling.

You sure that works? I don't think companion DoT's count as your own. Cull specifically only works on your own DoT's or it'd be completely OP while raiding.

  2. C. Change Sedatives to effect corrosive dart

    D. Endorphin Rush: Now allows healing abilities with a cast time to be able to be casted on the move while adrenaline probe is active

No thanks on either of these.

Sedatives is incredibly useful, 50% dmg for 10 seconds is great.

D is just stupid. AP lasts 3 seconds every 2min, that's not worth putting skill points into.

  3. Why is it "awful"? Atm my Kolto Injection is at 1,65 sec cast, without the alacrity

it feels very slow and my mobility is hindered.

That's awful because it means you're using alacrity enhancements instead of Crit+Surge so your heals will suck in general anyway.

It's bad for operatives in particular because we mainly heal by chaining KI+SP, which with a KI cast time of more than 1.9s means you can chain this combo forever because the cast time + the GCD from SP will take your power back to full. You can't do this, you have to pause between each cast to keep your power at decent levels. That's a bad thing.

  4. Reduces cast time and GCD for your channeled abilities. Not completely useless, but clearly the least useful stat for dps and only accuracy is worse for healers. If it gave meaningful cast time reductions, increased energy regen and/or made dots/hots tick faster it might have been decent.

Alacrity has never reduced the GCD for any ability.

  5. At 50 you can get crit to around 35% and surge to around 85% and you'll put out far more damage than you would if you'd been stacking power.

Go for crit+surge, every time. Even with the upcoming surge nerf you'll still put out much more dps (or healing!) if you spec for crit+surge.

  6. I look at the accuracy as implicit admission they knew our energy method was so tight that spamming rifle shot was the only thing a wise operative healer might consider doing when healing PvE.

Almost. Gear sets were designed by script and looked over afterwards, hence the random scattering of secondary stats. Most MMO's work this way, content/itemization guys don't hand generate each bit of gear.

  7. Meh, Armortech is useful because you can craft Rakata waist + wrist and you can crit them which gives an aug slot. They are incredibly hard to crit and they use a whole boatload of materials per attempt so unless you're gonna be raiding with full endgame gear it's not worth pursuing Armotech.

Can always get Orange waist+wrist and put lvl58 mod+armoring into it and it's almost as good as the critted Armortech ones. Certainly better than the regular Rakata ones, anyway.

  8. Which H4 are you talking about? You should be able to solo all the heroic quests in Belsavis more or less as soon as you hit 50 as long as your gear is up to date (and SCORPIO's is for tanking Raxxus, since you're a healer).

Old Enemies / Raxxus is a straight tank'n'spank while you interrupt his heals, just stealth to him using sneak to get you past the first group of enemies + the roamer.

Freeing the Fallen is a H2 but He's only got like 70k hp and his damage is awful once you move from his AE. Stealth down to him and use sneak on the second group hugging the wall on the right for group1 and group3.

Lights Out is solo for any stealth user, you should be able to do this in about a minute flat without aggro once you learn the stealth pattern for it. Go from right to left using sneak on the first group of jedi to get you up the stairs and then just follow the ledges to get to the middle button (with the champion mob) and the leftmost button.

  9. Post a link to your spec and what you intend to finish with, that'd help.

Also are those 2 points in the lethality tree 2/3 lethality giving you 4% crit chance? If they aren't, they should be.

  10. But don't you think it sucks that we have to do this ????

Pretty much every class has to do so mate. Only tanks get away with it a bit more than dps/healers do.

Fortunately there's ways to gear yourself correctly through both PVE and PVP, I guess maybe Bioware wanted to create a timesink for people that care about aiming for a specific spec. I mean, if all you had to do was loot columi then rakata gear the game would be over kinda quick .. they need something to soak up the time it'll take them to produce/deliver the next raid zone and gear set.
