This is complete crap, the cooler that comes stock is actually very nice. I have my 955 on stock cooler oc'ed to 4.0 ghz on air, and it stays nice and cool at ~33 Celsius

edit: oops I had a list earlier but can no longer find it. I live in maryland and pinged my server of choice had ~5 ms response time, pretty stoked. If i happen to come across it ill update

I have a very similar setup, Radeon 6850 with a phenom 955 oc'ed to 3.6~ GHZ and the game ran great in the beta on high settings, and I've heard the retail client is even better without a debugger running in the background using resources.

You should be fine, generally mmo's are a little more cpu versus gpu intensive. You'll definitely be able to play, may need to tweak some settings though depending on your computer. Pro-tip, when you hit ctrl+shift+f to bring up the fps of the client, red font indicates its your cpu slowing down performance, green indicates its the gpu.
