I would have to agree. The surge will be just to play around and see whats new. I might come back to the game to check it out like everyone else but I'll have to delete a character to try some things out since all my spots are filled with 50's. 2-3 months of playing was WAY to easy to level...

Who thinks this game will last 10yrs?
contingency replied to Rastellon's topic in General Discussion
This game isnt lasting 3 months lol. Population sucks on most servers always being light or standard at best. The original month was great having tons of people around, now everywhere I go its a ghosttown. 10 maybe 15 people total. Game will last a couple years with some stragglers hanging on, but with other games around the corner they definitely shot themselves in the foot not implementing features that probably should have been in from the start. Too bad, I liked this game. -
1.7 million? how many people are online per server at a time? 200-300? With that many people that are still subscribed you'd think the server populations would be fine. Raising the bu..sh.t flag on this... I see more people on Rift than on this game anymore.... shame...

Mara/Pally Bubble needs to be looked at(Undying Rage)
contingency replied to kiroshei's topic in PvP
Losing 50% of your hitpoints and gaining a 99% imunity to damage for 5 seconds isnt what i would call overpowered. you would only want to use this at really low health to get the last 2-3 hits in before you croaked. its totally situational, hence a last ditch attempt to whack something before you die. using this right from the start for a level 50 for example would be very very very bad. 15k health pool down to 7.5kish for 5 seconds of immunity? heh i think not -
By the time it hits it may be redundant. I know I have 5 lvl 50's already and alts in the 20's and 30's. Im sure some others are about the same.

All tanks use shield generators.

Yeah it works on weak/strong mobs only. Haven't tried it in pvp but I would hope they made it usable, otherwise its one less ability in are arsenal.

Launch downtime reminder - new servers incoming

You wont lose your character. You just wont be able to play until you enter the product code, after the cutoff date. -

Hopefully Origin will be sending out the game codes for people that preordered. I looked online and they said my order shipped which was kinda weird since it is a digital version. I haven't recieved my product code yet. -
Only one more wave of invites today ..
contingency replied to pottedfrog's topic in General Discussion
The whole point of staggered start was to ensure that the starter zones werent overcrowded and from what I have been watching they arent. So then why wouldnt there be a constant wave after wave of invites? Server population caps can be increased so that isnt an issue. Bioware? EA? CSR? Would love an official answer to this. -
Not gonna join your guild because server is full already?
contingency replied to Jeffdogg's topic in General Discussion
Hopefully they do push up the server caps. Cause what im seeing at the moment doesnt look to promising for me and my fellow guildies. Corellian Run = Full ACK! -

Headstart isnt going to matter too much when my assigned guild server is full. Trying to get guildies on our server is going to suck due to the volume. -

Are they gonna offer a free move for guilds that were setup on specific servers that are already full? Something Bioware needs to address since playing on my assigned server is going to be a joke because its full already.
