    Yes... YOU CAN..

     

    I guess people DO NOT LOOK..

     

    Anyways, bring up the menu, go to preferences, go to Controls, then under Camera, go to the Camera Rotation Speed slider, put that to 0% and it will work perfectly.

     

    ALSO TO THE OP:

     

    The CAMERA MAX DISTANCE SLIDER - Just sets HOW FAR back the camera is allowed to go, not the distance it is SET at.

     

    yes, then why is it not possible to set distance at max range all the time?

    i dont understand why the camera has to go back to max range so slowly

     

    in pvp its not good, but in pvp its almost a gamebreaker, most of the time playing scenarios the camera is almost never at max range at all, its like get close to a wall then bye bye camera at max range for rest of scenario unless u stand still in a clear area for 10secs or so

     

    and yes, i dissable camera pivot and have camera at 100% distance range

     

    am i bugged? it is the same for u?

    I can't play with the arrow keys, all of my binds are centered around WASD.

     

    I just hope Bioware are aware that the Control key is not working right with binds and they address it asap. Also the \ key opening bug reports all the time.

     

    man i dint say u play with arrow keys, what i said is bind arrow keys in WASD using a g15 keyboard or G13 one

    Ok so far I'm loving the game, but a few things are starting to annoy me ingame.

     

    1) Keybinds are a little whacky. Particularly the control key, I can't use it as a modifier for binds in it's current state. Holding CNTL makes wasd + mouse buttons stop working, so you can't effectively move/look with it as a bind. that's 6-10 binds out the window simply because of CTRL not working correctly. It's also perma bound to toggling ambience on/off (cntl+a) with no way to unbind it. Similarly the \ key (between Z and Shift) is perma bound to report bug, also annoying.

     

    2) UI customization. More specifically the quickslot bars. We should be allowed 2 right bars, 3 bottom bars. Considering my char is level 22 and already using up nearly 3 bars it's clear we need to use all of the available quickslot bars. Problem is I don't particularly want bars all over my screen, it clutters operation frames and is generally annoying. Having the choice of not being forced to use a left bar, instead adding more on the right/bottom would be nice.

     

    TLDR: Please fix the CNTL key, \ key and let us have a few more options for quickslot bar locations.

     

     

    im in same boas as you, luckily i have a G15 and g13 keyboard, u can solve this problem binding A W S D to arrows

     

    so W = up arrow = move upward

    S = down arrow = move backwards ect

     

    so when u press W key, u arent pressing ¨w¨ , u are pressing up arrow key, control o shift + arrows arent bugged, try it, sorry for my english xD

    My Sager laptop rocks this game just fine.

     

    Considering you can get laptops with dual graphics card in them now if you so choose, the only boundary with laptops being used for gaming is generally their price tag.

     

    buy a laptop for gaming, then buy a good mouse, then a good keyboard... then a good monitor... then.... u realise .. why didnt i buy a tower pc?

    I know probably why my framerate sucks, its because of my vid card. Right now I am using onboard graphics. I had bought a new 1gb vid card, plugged it in straight out of the box and boom nothing appears on screen when I turn on my computer. I am guessing possibly an incompatibility somewhere.

     

    go to bios, and desactivate the onboard graphic card, or select the PCI-express one to be primary then u will be able to use the new one ;) ask me whatever u need

    the total cost was under 2k, and he uses a dock at home. its 11" because he travels a ton for business and carrying around a full size gaming laptop is literally hell in airports. I have a toshiba qosmio myself and its a complete pain in the *** to lug around a 14lb laptop vs his 6lb laptop that has the same capabilities, just lacks the 18" screen.

     

    again, you are limiting your thinking.

     

    nothing stops you from using an external keyboard mouse and monitor when at home. when i travel for lan parties, i just take the PC, i have extras of the rest at the places i go.

     

    he travel for bussiness or for gaming?

     

    if he travel for bussiness he could use a laptop only for that, and with rest of money buy a good pc tower for his home, profit

    or know what you are doing, so you can work around the limits of these platforms.

     

    a friend has an 11" alienware system that plays the game wonderfully, and i use a micro ATX system myself thats custom built to be carryon luggage for when i do out of state lan parties.

     

     

    just dont assume you can go to bestbuy or walmart and get something thats going to rock in new games. thats not what the retail channel supports.

     

    ur friend paid a lot to play in a 11¨ screen with a tiny keyboard, congrats
