guanabr Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Hi,I am a powertech DPS, but I have some doubts about the gear I should use.Should I focus more on Aim or Endurance?For example, I completed a quest in Taris and I had to choose as the reward one of the following armors:Powertech Elite Upgrade Body Armor:http://www.torhead.com/item/cg0OdvJMercenary Elite Prototype Chestguard:http://www.torhead.com/item/57StqlhWhich one should I choose? I got the powertech one, but I'm not sure, since I am DPS I think I should have gotten the mercenary one because it has more aim. Notsofast Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 I would go with Aim, unless I was constantly in danger of dying while questing. When I was AP spec (up until level 27), I never dropped below about 75% health without purposely adding Endurance over Aim. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Schmack Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 If you feel the need for more health then get some endurance heavy gear. Shield rating and absorption makes to little difference for you so you can avoid them. Otherwise, gather as much Aim as you can find. It increases everything. For the secondary DPS stats (Power, Crit, surge) I would focus on Power during the leveling as it is a reliable DPS boost. Crit and Surge I wouldn't stack until endgame.
