IsolatedPurity
Can I do this without getting banned? I want to add AA and chat bubbles.

WirlWind
While I'm not an "official" response, I doubt you'd get banned for tweaking an ini file. Otherwise you'd get banned when changing your settings ingame too, since that also tweaks the ini file
SickAndDying
is there any way to turn off or down the lighting system in the ini? if so where is it?
Gendak
Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I found this information from the below URL. OptionName = type (int/boo/string) - default setting [ min-max range ] Graphics_Mirror.ini Graphics_DynamicLightComplexity - loc:1101[0 - 2]:preferences http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1042270-Big-List-of-SWTOR-Hidden-INI-Settings One thing it is worth noting is that .ini may be overwritten after patches and you should always take a backup of a working configuration before altering (e.g. rename file settings.ini.old) as you may inadvertantly prevent your game from running by manually changing values also I have no idea whether this breaches any agreements or the EUALA. Regards, Gendak.
XionoraSoulfire
Shouldn't be a bannable offense. People did it in the beta to activate things such as AA and it was fine.
SickAndDying
yeah prowling through my .ini files right now, any I'm not even seeing a dynamic lighting option now. Strange that they would remove it being that lighting and shadows are 2 things that tax lower end machines.
