Grimgold Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Common wisdom in MMO's is that you level in a DPS spec, which would be either Tactics or Assault. Out of the two I prefer Tactics, the energy generation is not RNG dependent, it is however a melee spec. This isn't a large problem in PvE because you rarely have to chase mobs, but in PvP it's an issue. Assault is more ranged (say in the 10 meter area), and is dependent on generating cells through proc'd high impact shots, and gaining energy when high impact shot hits a target suffering from your plasma cell. Given it's lesser dependence on melee, and ability to perma snare, you'll find your self kiting quite a bit. I feel this is a more PvP focused spec, which is to bad because it's mediocre compared to shield spec in PvP. Anyway hope that helps, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
