Bar-Da-Voya Posted September 15 Share Posted September 15 (edited) What you are seeing are Rocket Boots. It is a Perk that you have to unlock but you have to be a certain Legacy Level and have enough credits so it can take a while before you are able to unlock it. I always get left behind. The default animation for this shows thrust flames coming out of the character's boots, which is why some players incorrectly refer to it as Rocket Boots. But the reason some newer players may become confused and think the other player is using a mount is that if their equipped Chest Style has a built-in jetpack, the game will animate the flames as coming from the jetpack, making it appear as though the player is using a Jetpack Mount when they are not.
