EFeesh Posted April 1, 2023 Share Posted April 1, 2023 Since the 64-bit update whenever I change anything in the graphics settings both the game and Windows completely freeze, so far it's happened when changing screen resolution, graphics quality and refresh rate. Alt+F4 does not close the game, the task manager will open but I cannot Alt+Tab to it or any other program running in the background and I am forced to do a cold reboot (reset button). You won't ever be able to background Task Manager that way, but you'll always be able to use it to End Task. EFeesh Posted April 8, 2023 Author Share Posted April 8, 2023 (edited) After tinkering with the settings more I noticed that it does not freeze if I hit "Okay" instead of "Apply", it will still freeze everything most of the time when I use the apply option, but so far has not done so when choosing okay. I'm guessing because the issue is with the prompt that appears to ask you if you want to keep or revert the changes, whereas okay just instantly applies them without bringing up that prompt.
