I answered your other post: If you installed the game via the SWTOR website installer, once you are logged in to the launcher, instead of pressing PLAY, press the little doodad on the left side that looks like a branching upwards arrow. Choose to play on the PTS, and the launcher will download the PTS version of the game client and once that's done, you can press PLAY and you will be on the PTS. If you installed it via Steam, open the SWTOR store page on your Steam client (*Steam*, not the SWTOR launcher), and you'll find a button that installs the PTS version of SWTOR.
