Recording History - Scan Lair of Unamed

So running through the new dailies and having trouble completing [DAILY] Recording History.

Was able to find and scan everything but the lair of the Untamed.

Is this a bug or are am I missing something / looking in the wrong place.

Ditto. The apparent location you're supposed to be at to scan from seems to be an exhaustion zone so not sure if the Lair itself isn't placed, or if its due to the incorrect viewing angle. Also note that other scan locations didn't trigger the yellow outline so had to click around a bit blindly to hit them. Edited September 9, 2019 by Sir-steve

I found the exhaustion zone too (managed to get through it) and use the scanner. Went all over the area looking for something to scan to no avail. The object of the mission is to scan the Lair of the Untamed, which matches the name of the cave below the giant animal statue carved out of the mountain.

 

Will agree that the other scan locations were a bit challenging to find, they don't stand out as well as scanning targets on other planets.

I got it scanned. I scanned the rock on top of the cave. go figure. remember if you use the binox and something glows, scan it.
