But as it stands, you can pretty much just travel to the desired section on your mount quicker than the taxi can take you. It should be instant. And could use some visual improvements as well. How about instead of a speeder, you use an elevator/ turbolift? Replace the speeders with a vertical turbolift with your typical elevator button. Choose your destination and swoosh you instantly teleport to the turbolift in the section you chose. Doesn't have to be horizontal or anything, you can just pretend the elevator goes down, then changes directions perpendicularly somewhere in the bowels of the station.
