You're far, far, far from the first to ask for this. And frankly, when I see "Let us create Nautolans", I think of people trying to be Nik the Whiner(1) rather than some Jedi from three thousand years in the future. I think there are better ways they can spend their sharply limited development resources than this. There are also ... issues around whether Nautolans are sufficiently close to human in appearance (especially the face) for all the (romance) conversations to work properly. And what e.g. Koth says in the Lady of Sorrows chapter: "I've seen one like that before" when Thea comes on the holo to the Exalted. Of course he's seen one like that. He/she is standing right there next to him! (1) The one on Coruscant whose girlfriend left him because he's a control freak with jealousy issues.
