Dalaigh
The stats on Parsely show us the following DPS ranking on 2500000: Fury - 10076.74 AvgAnnihilation - 9791.21 AvgCarnage - 9471.44 Avg Fury is currently the highest DPS on Parsely and fairly easy to master compared to Annihilation. Please keep in mind that changes will be coming up soon. Hey folks, Marauders /Sentinels are the only Classes in 5.9 that are receiving slightly different changes than the other Classes this patch so I wanted to call them out separately. Here are the changes: Maurader The Ruthless Aggressor utility has been changed so that activating Obfuscate temporarily yields a 75% increase in damage reduction for Force and tech attacks instead of a 75% chance to resist all Force and tech attacks. Fury Reduced the damage done by Bloody Slashes by 18.5% Sentinel The Zealous Judgment utility has been changed so that activating Pacify temporarily yields a 75% increase in damage reduction for Force and tech attacks instead of a 75% chance to resist all Force and tech attacks. Concentration Reduced the damage done by Burning Slices by 18.5% We are making two changes. First, following last year's balance pass, these Classes are still slightly overperforming. The change to Bloody Slashes / Burning Slices is looking to address this. The second change is more of a functionality change. Ruthless Aggressor / Zealous Judgment would create a situation where there was very little counterplay against a Marauder / Sentinel during the effect of Obfuscate / Pacify. Since it created a chance to resist effects, it meant damage and crowd control were inconsistent against them. The change we are making is that instead of a 75% chance to miss, it adds 75% damage reduction. Now, a Marauder or Sentinel can be crowd controlled during the effect, but it will still allow them to take greatly reduced damage. Thanks everyone! -eric Now regarding the stats you want to have, they will be different for Fury/Annihilation vs. Carnage. This is due to the effect Berserk has in each of the disciplines and in Carnage it will give you additional Alacrity when used. There are basically 2 sweet spots you want to hit in Alacrity and that's 703 or 1860. If you have 1859 your GCD will be the same as if you have 703 due to it being rounded. Here's the thresholds for Alacrity: 0-702 Alacrity = 1.5 sec GCD703-1859 Alacrity (7.15+%) = 1.4 sec GCD (1.39991)1860+ Alacrity (15.41%) = 1.3 sec GCD (1.29971) Based on how Alacrity works, this is how you want to gear best in slot (248 with 236 Augments): Fury/Annihilation Enhancements: 3x Critical | 6x Alacrity | 1x Accuracy Augments: 6x Critical | 5x Alacrity | Accuracy Stats: Mastery 6880 | Power 4426 | Critical 1594 | Alacrity 1876 | Accuracy 765 Carnage Enhancements: 5x Critical | 4x Alacrity | 1x Accuracy Augments: 1x Mastery | 5x Critical | 5x Alacrity | Accuracy Stats: Mastery 6982 | Power 4426 | Critical 1958 | Alacrity 1414 | Accuracy 765 Use Advanced Polybiotic Proficient Stim and Crit Crystals for any of the disciplines. While leveling your gear you should stick as close to the 703 Alacrity as possible until you can comfortably gear the 1860+ Alacrity as anything in between would be a waste of stats. Invest your available points in Mastery instead until you're all geared up. Edited April 26, 2018 by Dalaigh
