I have teamed with respectable people before to wait for an mob to spawn and the object for the quest to release (allow interation) only to find some muppet not in the team operate the item, while we fight off the mob. we are locked from interacting because we are in combat, so it's unfair and we are stuck waiting. Its part of the game, some people will stealth in and capture quest objectives, others will fight their way to them and some people just come along behind others and take them.
