Ha, I just went through the end of the F!Trooper/Jorgan story on a Catharette. Very disconcerting when she talks to him as if she's not a Cathar. And for the "Same-Sex Class Companion Romance" advocates: they would, indeed, need to rewrite that romance heavily. It is littered with references to the fact that the player character is female - "a woman like you" and things like that - especially toward the end.
