cagthehack
I've run both KOTFE and KOTET twice with my JK and SW. Now leveling a Tropper (Vanguard). And those stories do not feel right with a non-force character. So I'd rather not run my Tropper through it. Can they be skipped? And what about the companions I collected along the way? DanNV
If you skip them, you get default decisions based on your faction. Personally, Iokath was disappointing at best. But then so was KotFE and KotET. I'd rather not ever see any of it again.
Dbohrius
What happens if you do Iokath without doing KOTFE/ KOTET first? Are you locked into the Outlander story - as in, your story companions are no longer in the ship and you gain the KOTFE/ KOTET mandatory companions, etc.? Yes you can skip KotFE and KotET and go straight to Iokath. I don't remember exactly what happens with companions though. The thing is that you can still play KotFE and KotET afterwards so I think nothing really happens in that respect. So you can do Iokath and then KotFE for example. When you start Iokath it just warns you that there are spoilers for KotFE/ET if you play Iokath first.
