Keith if you are fixing TK/Lightning Bug in 5.4 can you please adjust Madness/Balance

That bug should be fixed no doubt, but seriously Madness/Balance (ranged sustain-ie 0% at target dps) does not do more dps on a target than Lightning/TK (ranged burst -5% target dps) even without the bug. THEY ARE CURRENTLY EVEN.

By the way those 2 examples are like 1/500th chance parses so realistic dps even if you are doing everything right rotation-wise is more like 9,3K if everything goes your way.

 

The other ranged sustain specs all have 10K+ dps on lucky crit rate if you compare.

I totally agree with u. Madness average DPS is about 9,2k.. Lightning average DPS is higher than Madness even though Madness should deal +2.5% more than burst rDPS.

Please Bioware buff madness so it can be in line with snipers and IO mercs.

Lightning is still superior to madness in every situation, which is a problem.

 

A competent lightning parse is 9400; a competent madness parse is like 9300. Lightning is also more mobile and has almost the same amount of aoe pressure if you use affliction properly.

 

Madness should be close to IO; a competent madness parse should be about 9800. A 4 percent buff is needed.
