In serious need of hood-down Exiled Master-like set with shorter tunic

Old-time lurker and player here. I made up my mind and I want to leave my two cents as I believe it's about time to fulfill a certain request by MANY players. From all the funky and weird outfits available in the game I just can't believe that the most iconic Jedi look is not available in SWTOR after almost 6 years.

 

I'd like to ask for, as the title says, a "traditional" Jedi robe set that uses Exiled Master chest piece with its hood down as seen on some NPCs. I was one of many players greatly disappointed seeing this chest piece on NPCs but not available to players. That along with with either a retextured set of lower robes that already exist in the game and look like a skirt but, with appropriate texturing, would appear like a long tunic. Alternatively just make a new thing so it looks like KotOR 2 robes.

I have seen some people mentioning licensing and movies... But, pic related, robes that appear in KotOR 2 (far right ones) were designed by Obsidian and never appeared in movies. So what's the deal?

I already lost hope they will ever give us robes with long sleeves, no metal parts and hood down robes...

I would even hug this Exiled Master robes with hood down and bugged skirt...

 

A lot kotor/kotor 2 outfits are in game already I dont see why they would not have license for Kotor 2 robes or to be more precise (and not hear "What do You mean by "traditional kotor 2 robes phew!!!" give us Master Kavar robes https://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/b/b8/Kavar_fight.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/200?cb=20070425142414 no difference at all looks cool and more "Jedi" anyway...

Robes could be even named "Prehistoric Jedi Robes" "Forgotten Jedi Robes" or "Zakuulan Beggar outfit"... Everyone know about what type of robes we fight!

 

These robes were thousands years after SWTOR, and 300 years before SWTOR. I bet a lot robes could survive.

Also that's not as hard outfit that citizens of Old Republic couldn't figure lol...C'mon our Jedi character could read about Jedi 300 years ago and could want to look like them.

Don't hide yourself behind "no lore". A lot of Jedi players running with slave outfit like Leia in ep VI...with lightsaber... THAT'S NOT LORE Please bring something like Kavar robes.

 

Republic and Imperial war comming back (finally end of Zakuul theme outfits I hope...) its a great chance to add more Jedi and Sith themed outfits (Yes other classes too ofc! but this thread is about robes )

 

The more close to Star Wars movies robes they add to game, the more players come becouse "Wannabe Jedi!"

Humble Hero? 99% Luke Skywalker outfit from episode VI (different colors only)

Exiled Master? 100% Obi Wan Kenobi (Ben) from episode IV (bugged skirt and hood up ofc...)

I see no point of not adding robes smilar to Qui-Gonn or Kotor 2 to SWTOR, becouse EVEN THESE ROBES WERE IN SWTOR TIMELINE IMAGES, so pleas don't mention "wrong era".

We have asked forever and still nothing.Lots of jedi playing this game you know and many of us

actually want to look like they do in the real star wars universe.

 

 

Although I have no timeline to give, I can say that this is in the plans!

Just look at the tunic they even have on statues, under the cape. Mix that together with an already existing brown cloak.

I don't think the devs come to this section of the forums anymore.

 

Heck, I'd be happy with the already created hood-down version of Exiled Master. I think (can't remember for sure) that the Lana Beniko legs look pretty decent with the Exiled Master's chest piece.

Nothing really fits unless it is the original conal dress but Lana's leg model would certainly work with right texturing.
