Terelb Posted April 6, 2017 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I've encountered a general error which is preventing me to launch the game. I have no clue about the nature of the error because the launcher just displays it is "unspecified" and that I have to retry the patch again (which is impossible. Is there any straightforward solution or I have to reinstall the game? (I'm a subscriber and I run SWTOR on Windows 7) Thanks Alberto Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adric_the_Red Posted April 6, 2017 Share Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) Have you added launcher.exe and swtor.exe to the exceptions list(s) in your AV/Firewall? You may need to re-add, or remove and re-add, one or both of them after every patch, and there are some other settings you may have to change as well, depending on which AV/Firewall you use.
