pandarisman
For the past few weeks, my characters's skin textures have been exceedingly pixellated for some reason. I don't know if it's the game, the latest NVIDIA GeForce driver, or my monitor. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, is there a way to fix it? I am using a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 and have my graphics set to "Very High". Also, I recently installed GeForce Game Ready Driver, Version 378.66 http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/JerrekAlts/49220851-deac-445a-bf3e-e6b49af3bad0_zpsmrsi9lqj.png http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/JerrekAlts/f37edd49-037a-4023-bdde-0d1c8d389669_zps9shpbqsd.png http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/JerrekAlts/67cc4b97-e4bd-4b75-b7b1-4ee14723844f_zpsszpfj8my.png Edited February 23, 2017 by pandarisman

pandarisman
Characters' skin textures have extremely visible pixels despite my graphics being set on "Very High". I've never noticed this issue before, even when I had a weaker graphics card. Here's some more pictures of Ashara; she displays the issue very well: http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/JerrekAlts/2ef7dd08-2a50-49bf-8f68-cb68c59b0433_zpsucrt78de.png http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/JerrekAlts/6a928a3c-4a29-4a5d-bdd9-0a40043e5631_zpsjfsz9r9d.png Also, these are my graphics settings: http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/JerrekAlts/97d080e9-2d46-43b3-9f0e-2b0a678601a0_zpsnguizch1.png And your suggestion to fix it didn't work. OwenBrooks
Can try a game repair to see if a file issue http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=729911 I gather you have had a play with AA etc on the ingame settings
pandarisman
I've already tried a game repair, and a full re-installation. Neither worked. And you're correct, I did play with the game settings and nothing worked. I'm really thinking it's the graphics driver because I've ruled out everything else. OwenBrooks
Any change if you set the game shortcut to compat as Win 7 ?
pandarisman
I have Windows 8.1, not 7, so that wouldn't be relevant.
OwenBrooks
Try this then - link this was originally for where the textures moved from high to low constantly but worth a try I guess. Edited February 25, 2017 by OwenBrooks
pandarisman
As expected, this didn't work. I guess it must be the NVIDIA GeForce GTX driver, because I noticed it after downloading a new driver. I've seen only one other person with this issue, but the topic he/she posted in never got any replies. I must be cursed, I keep getting inexplicable computer problems and no matter what I try, nothing works!
