MasterRandAlThor Posted February 14, 2017 Share Posted February 14, 2017 I have a MSI X99A GAMING PRO CARBON mobo When I use the optical output the sound most of the time does not work if I close the game and restart it enough times the sound will work randomly. Another thing that happens when I am restarting the game it will go to a black screen and do nothing forcing me to restart my computer. it does not lock up the computer because my chat program still works if I am on it and my music still plays if I have it on. The launch screen sound works after it finishes checking for updates. Everything else works on the optical output nothing else gives me problems other than this game. The sound works fine if I send it through my gtx 1080 or headset I still have the problem with it going to a black screen sometimes when I try to exit :/ All drivers are up to date and all bios is to. This problem has been going on for 6 months when I built this computer I just lived with it up tell now cause the black screen happens more often now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
