Decorations -- Consider Ceilings

There are a few decorations which fit into both floor and ceiling hooks. This makes them exceptionally useful and versatile.

 

In recent packs, the decoration designers seem to have forgotten this wonderful idea that they used previously.

 

For example, here are some decorations which would have been useful on the floor AND ceiling:

* Exposed Wiring -- Why not have hoses and wires falling from the ceiling or poking up out of the floor?

* Holocron of Despair -- This would have made an interesting floor tech piece.

* Iokath Superweapon Prototype -- This would have been a brilliant animated tech ceiling decoration.

* Planetary Holoprojector -- I love things that project stars and constellations on my walls and ceiling.

* Zakuul Command Tile -- What a nifty way to decorate a ceiling in a room that doesn't need more light.

* Zakuul Swamp Spider Eggs -- Imagine this nestled into the tall grass on Yavin 4.

* Cosmic Statue -- Okay, a bit of a stretch, but still very nifty hanging from a high ceiling, such as Nar Shaddaa.

 

Anyway, you get the idea.

 

Devs, when you're designing new decorations, please remember that much of their value is based on how many hooks they fit in. The more, the better. Remember that some ceiling lights would also make great wall lights. Some floor and ceiling items would also be useful upside down.

Better yet, remove all hooks and make the decorating system the same as Star Wars Galaxies. Then you can put whatever you want exactly where you want it.
