So I wanted to see if anyone is currently using the original name of my Shadow, the one whose name got munched because I had neglected her around the time of the Great Name Purge. So I'm logged on to her, and I type "/friend Originalname" - the result is "Originalname does not exist". Rename token, bought, claimed, used. Type Originalname in the box. "Originalname is not available". But ... it doesn't exist! Log in to a Sorc. "/friend Originalname" - the result is "You are now friends with Originalname." Despite the name existing and being in use by a character, if that character is on the other faction, you are told that it does not exist. You should be told that it is on the other faction.
