You can search for the species requirements for consideration as a player species to find out why because there are plenty of threads on it already. Oh wait, you mean the creature.... edit: Staff has stated that they will not make changes to the first three chapters of the game any longer. Putting in a large creature would require changes to the cut scenes and how they're generated and they will no longer do that. Wookies as a race has been suggested previously anyway.
