I PvP and pve both casually. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance Back in 4.0 Guardians were a very decent 1vs1-class in pvp. However, in 5.0 they nerfed the Focused Defense (self heal). They also buffed the shadows tanking-abilitys (tank spec), its dps-abilitys (infiltration) and nerfed its survivabilty by removing the phasewalk. I actually play the shadow because of it's advanteges in pve-tanking. In PvP I mostly play on serenity (dot-spec), because of the dcd's against direct attacks some classes have gotten or already had. E.g. i sometimes feel like fighting with blunt knifes when I engage a merc on Infiltration. Very much in pvp is acutally "what can I do to deal with this merc/mando?"
