Can you confirm a game repair has no effect on this

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,

select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher

Hm, I never used that Repair Utility, because the rest of my game is basically bug-free (well, apart from the usual suspects :D ).

But thanks for that tip, I'll try it out.

I'm currently defragging that HD which holds SWTOR because I fear that file fragmentation might play a role there as well ( the game often does an CTD when acessing a planet a bigger plannet ( often Alderaan or Tatooine ) after an equally big planet with lots of resource files as well. The error message often says "file not found", which is not true, because after a new start, the game loads everything without any error messages ).

Hi in regards to the tutorial just wanted to confirm repair didn't have an affect before flagging back to the studio

As to the crashes , I gather it is a C11 or C12 error

If the repair doesn't stop this crash and your OS is 32 bit then reinstall the game as non streaming (link to directions) and that issue should be gone

reason I suspect your OS is 32bit is the crash with Tatooine is a symptom of an issue with 32bit OS and the streaming launcher and non streaming launcher is the solution
