zbraden
When I start the game as normal with the launcher, the resolution changes but the UI appears to remain the same. I have a dual display, and I can fix the issue with some finagling. However, fixing it is a hassle and the game will end up on the wrong screen half the time, and then I have to stick with it. Here's the process with included screenshots (left side is primary monitor, right side is secondary): 1. Open the launcher and launch the game. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxbn2ek79scrgtk/Launcher.png?dl=0 2. Resolution is changed. https://www.dropbox.com/s/t6zz0qajyrfzpj7/Warped.png?dl=0 3. Change to "Windowed", and then move to the other screen (which screen it's being moved to doesn't matter. So long as it's not the one it started on). The resolution issue appears fixed. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2bl555bk7s4ww5e/Fixed%20%28Windowed%29.png?dl=0 4. Change back to "Fullscreen (Windowed)" and the window jumps off the screen, although the game itself is running fine. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z574743delmxlqz/Return%20to%20Fullscreen%20%28Windowed%29.png?dl=0 5. Close the game. Then open the "clientsettings.ini" and change the Height and Width back to 1080x1920. I've checked this file before launching the game, and everything was correct. It changes post-launch. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qsitrvp99tjmug/Client%20Settings%20%28Broken%29.png?dl=0 6. Open the game again, and everything is fixed. However, it has switched which screen it is displaying on. https://www.dropbox.com/s/adrp832dlr9jrwc/Final%20Fix.png?dl=0 I can then close and open the game as many times as I want, and everything is fine. However, after restarting my computer (I turn it off every night), the problem comes up the first time I launch SWTOR (98% of the time). I repeat the process, and I end up using the screen that was empty last session. Lastly, here's a link to my "DxDiag.txt" file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p29f1e0qocq1cea/DxDiag.txt?dl=0 I've been having the issue for a while, but now that I'm an actual subscriber I'm a little more invested in the issue. I would like to be able to use my primary monitor all the time. The issue occurs regardless of whether or not other applications are open. Let me know if there's any more information you need or anything else I can do to assist you. Any insight would be appreciated (and sorry for the barrage of screenshots). Thanks! OwenBrooks
The intel video 530 is still active in the system, so best to disable it see if that has any affect first up before tinkering further Maybe try CRU (link) and create custom overrides for the resolution of each monitor with just the native resolution listed and see if it behaves.
