Login Service Unavailable

[Praefura]

I have tried everything below and nothing has worked. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

 

1) I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling

2) I have tried downloading the external launcher repair

3) I have tried deleting the BitManager folder

4) Restarting the computer

5) Running as an Administrator

 

Yet I keep getting the "Login Service Currently Unavailable. Please try visiting our forums..."

 

Any ideas?

This Login failure #-134 recorded

 

Can be a number of things but Antivirus/Firewall Block usually displays this error code

 

Incorrect password is the other, if you have changed the password on your EA/Origin account and they are linked then the new password will take over.

 

Just to be sure try resetting the password at this link

 

otherwise I would be double checking the AV and Firewall for launcher.exe , even reboot the router/modem and see if it has a firewall as well.

Covenant Eyes is a filter program I have installed, but it's set to Mature and as such should allow SWTOR to execute. Further, I added the websites to an unblock list and to no avail. I'm still having issues with the launcher and it giving me the same error/message.

With AVG do you use 'link scanner surf-shield" ? try disabling that if you do

Can also take the system to a clean boot per this link , don't forget to return back to normal boot.

no effect. i'm still having this issue. even after checking AVG and doing a clean restart. I continually get this message whenever I'm doing a fresh installation of the game. Keep in mind I haven't even patched the game or installed the game properly on my computer. I've been able to play this game no problems with my Windows 8.1 computer, but I've had nothing but bad luck in attempting to get any new games to work on this computer. Fractured Space gives me a "Failed to connect to server" error. Wargaming.net occassionally gives me a "connection timed out. Try again later" message. And now this game gives me a "Login service unavailable. Please visit the forums for more information." message.

 

I'm starting to wonder if it's all related. I also know that it may not be the ISP since I've connected to at least 3 different ISPs since attempting to download/play these games.

Ok Lets take a step back , how is this computer connecting to the router ? wireless or wired ?

 

worth checking the network adapter side of things given this is not just swtor related

 

If wireless can you tried a wired connection via ethernet cable , if wired try another ethernet cable and try wireless if an option.

 

need to test and eliminate as much as possible
